Hanson over Tyson for me. I just think it would be harder for the Cats to find a match.
Who is Hanson? Have we Promoted a new player off the Rookie list?

I don't rate Vanders either. His disposal is extremely hit and miss, and he's probably the worst handballer I've ever seen at AFL level.
But I suspect Vanders will get a game soon enough for his pressure acts and his ability to bob up with a goal or two.
Can't disagree with your thoughts Re. foot skills, I think Vanders offers more in the way of brute defensive pressure eg. Tackling machine when he tackles they stay tackled and he's a 80 meter player with burst speed, kicks like a mule, has a goal sense and can clear defensive walls with kicks out the back.

BoOmer has no respect for the dees, he has no idea that he thinks up he just listen to the noise everyone else says, he said on the radio that Gus was slow, it is not true just others said so so he thinks it is true, i always said Gus was fast but many like Harvey heard others say it so it must be true.
He's an annoying snot nosed little dweeb, an absolute waste of time.

The problem with Bugg (despite being limited by foot and decision making) is that we already carry Harmes and ANB. The latter two are inconsistent and when they're off, they're really off. Particularly, ANB. If you add Bugg in there too, the margin for error is too high.
The more we improve list, the more these players will become fringe players, which is a good thing. It means every game they play is a blessing for them, which ensures they can rarely afford to drop off.
He might get one more game, but I reckon he's done at season's end. With Taylor's record, I'd be giving him as many picks as possible to unearth another gem that could replace Bugg.
Bit harsh on Harmsy, think he's been a solid contributor this year only 50 games in too. As for ANB thats a different story, would bring in Vanders in a heart beat.

Too Early to start stroking poles against lame opponents, lets see what the next 2 weeks holds in store for us.

Would be fantastic if he kicked the ball a little more, as it is as much a weapon as his handballs are.
If he starts to increase his kicking output, he will go to another level ?
He just starting to kick it alot more now, he kicks it a mile old clarry. A Brownlow beacons for the little master.

If Jack’s out for an extended period ie 4+ weeks, it opens the door for Aaron to crash his way back into the midfield, and Salem to get another extended run.
Love Vandenbergs appetite for the game as the intensity lifts, he’s my wildcard for the run into and finals. ..
Vanders is a September Wildcard along with Jayden Hunt.

He was clearly either injured or sick. Get off his back!
Nathan Jones has earn the right to be quiet for a game or 2, he's carried this club through the darkest of dark times he'll come good our Jonesy boy.
Short memories some on here where is the RESPECT.

Not going to win anything playing him on the Wing. Goody would have to have rocks in his head to play him on the wing for long periods of a game again.
85-90% as a powerhouse forward.

Just a note
The club has an ex player invited to every main training session now,
The Wizard was last week
That is a great initiative by the club, great way to build a link between the players and former greats of our club?

Not looking past the Bulldogs but beating the Cats down at Geelong next week to move two games clear of them and make their path to the finals very hard would be so, so sweet.
Scott, Dangerflog Ablett, Selwood..... they are so easy to hate.
If We beat Dogs and go down to the cattery and knock em off we would have finished them off for the season.

Great result for football that is.

I have dug deeper on information of who played the first game of what ever resembled a football code, it was actually the mighty M.F.C in July 1859 against South Yarra. Sheffield F.C first game was against Hallam in 1860 no mention of what month details very sketchy.
So I'd have to say M.F.C is the first club to put and organised game together against another club. So you would have to say its the MFC.
There seems to be a more detailed outline on who played for MFC, who was captain etc compared to Sheffield FC.
