  1. How bout opening a thread on the AFL and the brilliant idea of giving us three 6 day breaks in a row throwing in travel to Perth and Darwin as right bunched in together well done very creative that was, that's where our season end never the same team after that.

Don't go blaming the Crows not there problem.

  2. All I want now from this  f ing  football club is a ruthless footy department in the off season 3/4 of our list should be on the table you want money from us to put up with s#@t like this you have got to be kidding, no one is spared fkn joke. I feel like I've been fisted by all that has happened fix this crap.

  3. The mix in the forward line is so crucial depending on our dominance at center clearances and control of the ball in general play. we can only go with 2 tall at a time in the forward line and 3-4 small forwards who apply pressure. Once we go with 3 talls if our delivery is just bombed in and teams have been dropping a spare in defence, our ability to put pressure in50 diminishes alarmingly and we are susceptible to rapid rebound 50 attempts ie GWS the orange tsunami. Mix has to be right.

I have some stats from our 2017 fixture. After looking all this up i am stunned we are now in a position that we can make finals considering. This is remarkable job considering the fixture we had & the injuries. These are not excuses these are just facts hopefully we make it but i will send this to the club so they can make a request for their 2018 fixture hopefully we don't get such a shocking fixture.

    6 Day Breaks

We have had 9 six day breaks this year yet our opposition going to matches against us have only had 2 6 day breaks going to a match against us. Those 2 matches were against Geelong in rd 3 we had a 6 day break aswell & against Essendon in rd 3 were they had a 5 day brerak & we had a 6 day break.

    Consecutive 6 day breaks

we had 3 consecutive 6 breaks together from rd 13-15 yet none of our opponents had any consecutive 6 day breaks leading into a match against us.

2 days extra break or more

We only had on 1 occassion a 2 day extra break against our opposition at that was against Collingwood on queen's birthday as we had the bye the previous round so we had a 16 day break & collingwood had a 8 day break. Yet our opposition had on 5 different matches at least an extra 2 day break. In particular was the bulldogs game when we played on the monday on queen's birthday & the bulldogs played the previous thursday night & the week after against west coast were we played on the sunday aginst the bulldogs & the eagles played the previous thursday night again.

    Bigger Breaks

We had on 6 occassions a bigger break then our opponents yet out opposition has had 10 occassions where they had a extra break on us.

This is just very interesting i thought.

    Don't even get me started.

Nope, Lions have vastly improved in the second half of the season.

Have you taken a look at North they are a disgrace play like busted a holes for the last 3 months and suddenly play like there lives depended on it against us, you can put house on it they will tank the house down next week against the Lions and gain the 1st draft pick.

Brisbane had nothing to play for today no expectation but they rise coz were a young talented team they rested players like Hipwood and 2-3 others primed for this game been a common theme this year.

    Ben Kennedy Mk. II

    No thanks.

You reckon I think he would be a steal at the right price only knock on him would be his work ethic definitely could kick 20-30 goals a season.

Pedersen's contribution yesterday makes you wonder how many extra wins would we have had if he had been selected earlier in the season?

    Geelong? (Leading 3/4 time)

    Fremantle? (2 points)

    Hawthorn? (3 points)

    Richmond? (13 points)

I'd like to think at least 1 maybe 2 especially the Haw and Freo games during that time Hoges and Lewis got themselves rubbed out but we have got to remember all that has gone on this year suspensions, illnesses, funerals, deaths, injuries etc i think as a football club we have coped exceptionally well let's not forget all of this.

This game was the perfect example of our season, its the reason why we are  7 and not top 4, we dont finish off teams, we don't  have a killer instinct.

agreed and our forward 50 awareness isn't quiet there we don't kick enough easy goals our dominance demands especially that 1st quarter should have been 50pts up.
