Grundy is so inept as a forward, that I think bloody tomlinson would offer more playing there. This is a guy who played as a pure forward for Casey, looked so completely lost that they gave up at HT and played him ruck. He nerfs Gawn when he plays, which is an outcome we simply can't afford. Schache is not contested enough. So... either swing tomlinson or heck even Turner there, back in Spargo and a small forward line, just PLEASE don't play Grundy. Please.

I'd be interested to see how Joel Smith goes in the Fritsch role, alongside JVR and Brown. I think Spargo gets a bad rap too. For a team so desperate for forward connection, it seems counter productive to leave him out. If it were me In: Spargo, Clarry, JVR Out: Fritsch, Harmes, Chandler, Melksham (sub) Wouldn't be upset if Woey had a go in place of ANB either. But suspect we won't go there yet.
