I'm positive Jones will play again his year and will justify his inclusion whenever that maybe by playing well. It is entirely up to him and his form to bang that door down. We have very good depth now and can cover most if injuries occur.

Exactly. I've been up here since 91 (ex Vic) and not one sporting club has survived for any decent length of time. It's such a transient community on GC with many ex Vics but support their own teams and not many actual Qld GC supporters. I've been at Metricom a few times and it feels like a local game of footy where you could park your car by the fence if allowed. They are doomed.

Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but Goody said in his presser that all players back on Saturday and club having a praccy match amongst ourselves assuming with all available AFL and VFL listed players.

With you Jaded. On Monday's form I'd take him in a heart beat. He is strong and tough which a few of our forwards found out and didn't want to go near him. Also his disposal is OK

If you had of told me pre season we would be 11/2 at the bye I would have committed you to the looney bin. Very happy and the 2 losses have been by only 1 and 17 points when we played crap. Will take it to the bank and look forward to the next phase.

Yes very strange recruiting by the Blues. They already had the likes of Docherty who doesn't pick up a man then go and recruit Williams and Saad who also do not know how to defend. All receivers.

Agree but most of their other payers aren't. I was at Metricon last year us V Lions and all they did was bump, push, scrag Gawn off the ball all game. Umpires did nothing so no doubt they will do same and we can only hope the Umpires do something this time.

I just hope whoever they bring in just plays their role and all the boys get a bit nasty on the Lions and give it to them. Lions have had it nice and easy up here and no doubt will go trough their normal routine whereas I assume we fly in and out on day. Be a great win when we get it done.

Up here in Brissie there is no restrictions so yes the Lions train as per normal

In the pre game picked us to win by 26. Only a couple out but boy have we some more improvement to go. Excited what this club can do as I think again we were not at our best but did what was required. Great effort and bring on the Lions wherever we may play.

I'm slightly confident in as much as selected us to win by 26 points. Mad I know but have a gut feel that the Weid and Fritta may actually play tonight as I didn't see them last week. Petty to also finally have a break out game and the rest perform to their best and a win is coming. I hope!!

Concur Lord Nev. We looked a bit flat plus Crows played well and Umpires didn't assist (late any way) and we only lost by a point. So it's not all doom and gloom in my view. Other than Oliver no one else dominated so get 6-7 more fired up and we are still a chance Friday night. Have to be at our best.

Boy oh boy Earl. Our forward line today was supposed to stretch a young and inexperienced Crow backline. But I see we only had a couple playing in forwards as Spargo, ANB, Weids plus TMac did next to nothing. Agree with Sparrow and BBB in and hope Salem is fit. Doubt Viney will play. Harmes to stay and Jetta unfortunately has played his last game with Weids and Melk also out. We played crap away from home and only lost by a point so something to take out but we need to improve about 25% to be in with a chance against the Dogs.

I'm with you Mono. No change. Give Jacko an extra week to fully recover from his finger injury and he will be cherry right for Dogs, Lions and Pies then gets another rest. Let the Weid and BB have another game together and Chandler to stay also and hopefully show us what's he got against Crows. Then we have massive decisions for Dogs game.

AND the scary thing is he will get even BETTER
