  1. That would be nice to pay back the Swans but I thought we were going to do the same last night.
  2. I used mine for this one but Josh can use his at the Suns game.
  3. Keep Lions guessing
  4. I hope the team trained with soap on the pills as it could be quite damp with humidity up here Friday night. 31 during day and min of 20 overnight. Be a warm one. Looking forward to going and trust we play like the last round in 22. Not the final!!!
  5. From what the Fox guys were saying it is only one month difference between the 2 sides in age and games played so I would say the Magpies game plan is the worry for the Cats. Remember the Pies should have won that prelim last year.
  6. Will have sons and grand kids around to watch on Fox and as its early evening game by Qld time, tossing up whether to eat before or at half time however leaning towards half time as you should not EAT on a empty stomach. Might need a few VB's to ease the nerves prior to game, then maybe a red when we have it in the bag.
  7. Would prefer to back someone that knows the game like Buckley. He has Oliver, Gawn and May in his best 5. 3/5 not bad.
  8. Let's leave Fritta and WCW alone for now and get back on track with the practice game tomorrow. Will be watching on Fox up here in Qld and expect a good work out as the Tigers have a pretty good team. Likewise us so should be a cracking game providing the wind down there at Casey is kind.
  9. Might have been just a practise match but the Weid di himself no favours. Sounds familiar.
  10. Also my favourite GF since 64,
  11. Maybe some do not value him but please take care to read the first sentence of my post. Thanks.
  12. Whilst Viney is very important to us I believe we have cover with the likes of Sparrow, Jordan, Rivers etc. for what I hope is only a short time out, if at all.
  13. Ffrom the AFL site it is free entry. Doubt the Tigers fans will descend on Casey. They have no money for petrol !
  14. Have this as my screen saver on the computer.
  15. This home base stuff is doing my head in. We were slack back in the days when we got turfed out of the MCG and have been nomads ever since. I've just turned 70 and pay for my twin 16 year old grand sons membership albeit as a interstate one but I only hope they get to see us have a home base before they turn 70 !!.
  16. Gabba?
  17. Got no idea how Jon Ralph has a job. When they go to him on Fox I turn the TV over!
  18. With you here McQueen on the deep list and flag however no use having a deep list if we don't rest some sore players during the year and play our depth. This is where IMO we fell down in 22. Coaching depo need to do a Cats and give those sore bodies a rest every now and again.. Can't go into finals all banged up again.
  19. Wishing him well but boy he needs to get a bit of mongrel in him if he wants to be a decent AFL player.
  20. Forward line to actually work. I would love that. Goody goes against his own pig headed beliefs and plays the better performers in the twos when some in the ones are sore. Turn the players over and see who can play or some with a bit of potential will go. Clarry wins the Brownlow.
  21. Terrific report and in particular the comments on JVR. If he can mark like Greg Parke and play like Schwarter then we have an out and out champion.
  22. I have no clue but would assume the club chats with the footy dept. and players. Players seem to like playing at Alice and we go OK there so I have no problem in us playing someone like GWS in Alice.
  23. Yep we got to trust the back room people in that they know allot more than us mere supporters. Must have something in mind and if it doesn't work out then we still go into next years draft with a pretty good hand.
