Got 10 of us going to an early diner at Club Southside, Mount Gravatt then the free bus to Gabba. Nice and warm at moment and will drop to around 17 by first bounce. My lawn was fairly dry this morning so hopeful not much dew tonight. In any case we should win by around 4-5 goals.

They are by far a better side up here playing at Gabba however we bring our best it is better than their best. Go Dees. Will be there supporting out loud.

He's been playing at Doncaster in EFNL with Jamar so should have some football conditioning as it's a tough league. Will no doubt assist Casey but will he play enough games to qualify for finals?

Correct. We need another bigger body in the forward line whoever it maybe. Can't just have Brown as sole big guy. Max and in particular Jackson have trouble playing forward although Max has performed on odd occasions. Other than about 15 mins in the GF Jacko has done next to nothing. All the hype on him is highly overrated IMO.

Felt sorry for Viney there. Hibberd just didn't want the pill and hand balled it to him from about 2 feet away. In other words he [censored] himself and just wanted someone else to take the heat.

I've really got no idea who to bring in but surely the coaches need to look at the forwards. It is not working. In the past I blamed the entries but we had plenty of good forward entries only for the forwards to go missing and hang out the back. Think we may have a few front runners here who are not as tough as they think.

Also with Kozzie he needs to be told he is a small forward with some pace and X factor and to NOT sit at back of packs looking for the easy one. He and Spargo need to be at bottom front of packs. Did not see them at all front and centre.

Completely agree here. We dominated everything for most of the game. Umpires didn't cost us. We did it ourselves

Just had a look at the BOM and it appears these latest showers maybe?? the last. Could clear by time of first bounce. Mind you I'm up in Qld so got no idea really. Needs to be a firm track as I picked Dees by 43 points.

Just looked at the Radar and it appears to be clearing but no doubt soft underneath. Dees by 28 points.

I reckon we win but I would love Big Maxy to get back to dominating and Jacko plays his heart out. To win the small forwards have to kick about 10 between them.

Good luck to him. We need to remember this is not Park Footy but a large corporate business and the Bombers would be silly not to look and try to talk to those out of contract that could assist them going forward. Same on the other side and Gus would be stupid to not test the waters. Hope he stays but he needs to see what is out there.

No way it was deliberate. Ball was bouncing around and he kicked it in mid air. Just so happens Clayton went to grab the pill. Free kick as it was and that's it.

I don't think BB is the sole tall forward. Have a look at the side. Gawn and Jacko will be moving through the forward line and they ain't small.

Maybe Fat Tony but every time he goes for the pill he has 2 or 3 oppo players on him. Rarely gets out marked so therefore he is bringing ball to the ground. This is where the likes of Picket etc. need to be. I know BB is 7 foot 20 and needs to impose more but let's wait and see if this happens leading to finals. Still have a little bit of faith in him.

Gee I'm up with it. Not. Oh well they have plenty of other older players, like most of their side so maybe they rest them !!. Who ever they play we will knock them off. Got a very tough run home so need this one.

They also tend to rest their older players after 5/6 day breaks so would not surprise me if Danger and Selwood have a rest

Up to the Mids and smaller guys to take control. Still a very strong back line so I have great confidence in us taking this game by more than 40 points.

Well I will quote myself here. As mentioned above we did not have Trac firing. He was very ordinary and Pies last goal he was just jogging along inside the Pies players doing nothing. Like a under age player. Either he is unfit (as in not well or injury) or he is getting a BIG head. The lesser lights to help Clarry were not seen. Forwards struggling that's if you want to call them forwards. When things are tough and prssure on we go missing in the forward line.

Those at the ground would know better but watching up here in Qld on the [censored] box it seemed our forwards were behind most of the time albeit our entries were terrible but ever since I played juniors back in 60's was told to be in front as a forward. This gives you a chance to either mark the pill or bring it to ground. Time and again the Pies took easy marks in our forward line. We looked like a second rate forward line. BBB improved a bit from his last few outings but was caught behind to many times and when in front could not hang on to the mark. Easily spoiled. Our forwards line is a mess big time.

Yes the forwards are struggling a bit but for us to give this mob a hiding we need our full lot of mids to dominate in tight and on the outside and give some decent disposals to our forwards advantage. Trac needs to have a blinder on Monday and we need the lesser lights like Harmes, ANB and Sparrow to give Oliver a hand out. This happens and we win easily.
