Stop making so much sense Dr. Gonzo We are and always will be the weakest supporter base in the AFL We have about 20k passionate paid up supporters who turn up win, lose, draw, rain & hail 20k paid up supporters, who turn up when we’re winning (at least paid up) Then the barrackers, probably another 20-25k, these are the ones that don’t pay memberships & don’t care All clubs have barrackers but ours outnumber our members by 10 times Its embarrassing & we deserve everything we get

Ok what are the reasons for not turning up a the G (personal reasons withstanding) What has the club done for this non attendance. We should’ve agreed to giving it to the Essendon v Hawthorn game, at least they’re passionate & would turn up. Imagine how many excuses we would’ve come up with having to play at the Docklands

Yep fair enough, l also live 4.5hrs away & try to get to 6 games a year Its a 9hr trip in a day, but my love for the club makes me do this You are correct about the barrackers it’s an embarrassment to the club l would love to here the excuses from Melbourne based Demonlanders who couldn’t be bothered turning up

He’s better than Cripps, Steele, Mitchell, Wines, De Goey, Rowell & Shuey & that’s just the midfielders above him. I know it’s just an opinion piece from a very average AFL reporter, but it makes my blood boil how overlooked Clarry always is

We would all love him to add those layers to his game. l would love to see Tmac kick 75 goals a season too Would love to see Clarrys heat map, don’t thing he goes deep into the forward line often (coaches instructions maybe) If only we could get some class on the end of his immense ball winning, it would be pretty exciting
