  2. I wasn't saying that I couldn't answer that specific question, I was just giving a general warning that my hands will be tied in certain situations
  3. Also I'd like to add, I have seen a fair bit of discussion about he's ability to play at an AFL level comparing to his VFL performance. It seems like a lot of people were forgetting he was working a full time, very physical job, then training at close to an AFL level 3 nights a week for up to 3 hours, which would see him up to 16 hours a day away from home. Despite all this, he was competing on the same level and even sometimes at a higher level then the AFL listed players. In a full time footy environment, and 'touchwood' he doesn't get injured, he will be playing at a very competitive level next season.
  4. Just FYI I have been advised that it is agaisnt MFC policy to talk about specific, insider player information on any publicly available areas. However, I 'think' he is really enjoying it, is settling into the workload nicely and already has been involved in some pretty amazing stuff. To be honest I don't think I've ever seen him so happy. He knows he is involved in something very special.
  5. 1 last thing I'd like to note, is his listed weight shows 88kgs, where the last time he weighed in he was up to 96kgs, pure muscle. A good pre-season in him and he will have a very competitive amount of strength.
  6. If it's any consolation he was rated Number 1 this year in the VFL for one-on-one wins, mostly against key forwards.
  7. Jack Hutchins the skipper was on the Gold Coast list for a couple of years. Didn't have a huge impact up North, but had a killer year with Casey. Maybe being back home in Melbourne has really helped him, so could he possibly get another chance at the big shot?
  8. Declan had an interview with the Mebourne staff today about his draft prospects
  9. Man I can't tell you how excited I am for this game. My brother in 10 years of football has never played in a Grand Final, and nothing on this level. He is absolutely beaming with anticipation (which is rare for him, he's usually very humble and docile off the field) Whatever the result it's gonna be a huge day!

  11. Had a chat with Justin Plapp after the main training. He seems extremely happy and excited for Sunday!
  12. AFL and VFL team lists have been released. Interesting to see Jong on the dogs VFL list but not the AFL list.
  13. Currently at the open training session at Casey Fields. So far no sign of Salem.
  14. Don't be so sure. Footscray will have an extra 4-5 AFL listed players this time around, maybe more, making it a much stronger team then what Casey played in the Qual final. Salem would be a huge help as he was dominating before he went down in the Prelim. If the club doctors and staff think he is right to play, who are you to question?
  15. If he's fit to play, they'll be playing him the 1's you would imagine
  16. Just finished watching. He seemed very confident Salem, Grimes and Hulett will all be back in for the weekend
  17. Your first guess is correct, they are the major sponsor of the VFL
  18. Keilty** Also no way the dogs will have 18 listed players given their injuries, and they will be taking a large squad up for the AFL Prelim. Footscray won by 119 not 117 That was Salem's 2nd concussion for the year, so there is very little chance he will play next week Hulett will be another In, as well as Grimes and Terlich Finally, Casey beat Footscray by 70 points just 2 weeks ago. You should check you're stuff before you post dude.
