  1. I'm so glad I don't barrack for Richmond.
  2. One from left field - would someone like Deledio be worth a look? Just interested in what others think, as his age and injury history might not be what we are after, plus he would cost probably cost a first round pick. But, we know how well he can play and having his experience and ability to rotate through the middle and up forward might work well for us. Don't shoot me for asking, as I said, just interested on what others think.
  3. I think this will probably turn out to be the case, especially with an 8 day turnaround and no injuries. Unless someone plays an absolute blinder for Casey today you would assume a side that wins by 40 points over in SA would get another crack next week as well. No changes for me.
  4. Too true. The one thing I think that the players have learned from it, is that we can't go into games believing it's already won. While we've turned the corner in the last few weeks, I think it started all the way back in Round 2 with that loss. It was an eye opener and we've moved forward superbly from it.
  5. SWYL would be a front runner for that one!
  6. Some posters look a touch silly in this thread. I thought we could cause an upset or two, and while I thought we would beat the Saints, the Hawks game makes up for that, while the Port win was another some wouldn't have given us much of a chance in. Win next Sunday and, as the Doc says above, not only do we hit the 11 win mark but we potentially give ourselves a shot at September as well.
  7. Bit of a weird one tonight. Stretch had 17 touches, not sure how he couldn't find the ball. Jones had 29 touches, so I wouldn't have said he was 'quiet'. Wasn't one of his better games but he still had an influence. And Harmes couldn't get near it all night, and made some poor turnovers as well. I also thought Pedersen was better than 'limited'. The rest, however, are spot on. Hogan is desperately out of form, Viney had a bit of a shocker, and while I loved Kent's game he still made 7 clangers.
  8. I don't own a scooter or have an affinity for 'guns', so no.
  9. He's just a fringer, apparently. He's kicked 4 goals in 2 weeks and proven to be best 22.
  10. Bugg kicked that one in the third.
  11. Bolt only comes around once every 4 years, but wins over Port in SA only come around once every 16 years. You know what to do WJ...
  12. You almost expect it these days. We kick 8 in a row, then they finally get one and you get there 'here we go...' and 'terrible football' stuff from the usual posters. It's as if they expect us to kick 20 and the other team can't hit the scoreboard at all. We won, in Adelaide, by almost 7 goals. Some are never happy.
  13. 10 wins! Who would have thought it? This was almost a carbon copy of the Freo game. Dominated early and then almost ran out of legs in the second half, but we held firm, as good teams do, and won the game. Ignore the sooks and the negative types who will cry foul of Hogan's form, the odd turnover or a missed spoil. It's inconsequential. 3 in a row and our first win over there against Port in 16 years. Enjoy it.
  14. How dare you kick a goal Jones, you horrible captain you!
  15. You don't need to reiterate. We know, as you've told us all year. Same with Jones and the usual drivel. Learn to enjoy a win instead of popping in here to be negative. There are enough of them already.
  16. It's 11-2 in centre clearances, so no, we haven't been.
  17. Neck up you parrot. I've been talking us up all night. We HAVE been terrible in centre clearances.
  18. It would be great if we could win a centre clearance. We've been horrible in there all night.
  19. Boy did we need that one! We got there in the end!
  20. Tyson took his eyes off the ball there and it cost us a goal. Getting one here would be handy. Umpires are giving them EVERYTHING at the minute too.
  21. Nah, more like the Freo game all over again.
  22. Umpires giving them a hand as well, not the mention the commentators who so desperately want them to win.
