Davis did spend time forward last week so maybe they liked what they saw. As for Hogan he played plenty of games at CHB last year for the AIS & WA infact I remember hearing Glen Jakovich was doing some work with him and was glowing about his work in the backline.

He did ok for Casey on the weekend, had a bit of a purple patch in the 3rd qtr going on a couple of long runs and did really well with a 2nd & 3rd efforts. When he gets involved he looks good he just needs to be involved more often. I think in time he could be a player.

Hogan is a freak! The guy can turn a game on its head in the space of 10 min but the reality is he's not a good set shot at goal. He's obviously aware of this because the last 3 times I've seen him play he's had a different approach at goal, he also misses easy goals that you and I could kick. Its probably his only weakness & I'm sure in time he'll sort it out.

Huge work rate, double & tripple leads all day, turns his man inside out when playing high & works hard to double back to the square, very quick & agile for his size, extremely strong overhead, high footy IQ just knows what's going on around him, doesn't take any [censored] with a hint of arrogance, poor to average set shot action- needs work.

Can't say I took much notice of anybody other than Hogan today. I walked from one end to the other at each break just to watch the big fella.

Hogan is obviously a gun but his kicking at goal is all over the shop.

It's all well & good having Watts up forward for rest of the year but what about when Hogan comes in next year?
