When he was recruited I thought that he had the most unlikely build of anyone trying to play AFL He’s improved a lot in that area but think Baldi has has more upside than him even tho he’s come from outside the system

Baldi must miss playing at Moe Busts his guts with little support at Casey
As much as I would like to see him succeed He is not big enough to compete at VFL level let alone AFL He tries hard but sadly not going to make it Hope I’m wrong
Our recruiting is a big problem ,not the draft so much as our kids from last two drafts are very good I follow Casey closely and really apart from one skinny 200 cm fwd who the coach won’t play we have nothing to be excited about Caseys best players most weeks aren’t on our list Watching other teams this weekend at gather round they have 204cm plus kids running around Why not us
I’ve stood near him at the huddle against Sandringham practice match He is a small 200 cm by my judgement and has no bulk at all Tom McDonald has twice the body size as you would expect and although I would like to see him get a Senior game He will not match it with big opposition ruckmen If it was like football 30 years ago when jumping was the major skill of a Ruckman instead of almost pure push and shove of today Could make it as a pure forward tho
Whenever Howes gets a possession I hope he at least kicks it out on the full Better result than hitting the opposition on the chest

How small are our ( bigs ) at Casey I watched the practice match against Sandringham and was on the ground at the quarter time huddle Fullerton and Varrell are not AFL size Ruckmen and they struggle at VFL level Tom McDonald was our biggest player that day and Sandy had much bigger Big Men Watching on today we were boys against men verse Gold Coast Club is desperate for a future Ruckman to take over from Max
