First 10 minutes aside, we absolutely controlled that game. After the fumbles in the first quarter, I packed my dacks when I saw the heavy rain at the start of the 2nd, but it was completely unfounded. The footy is getting worse, but nothing could be as loud as the one Big Bash game I went to...never again. The music was ridiculously loud, the fake chants were embarrassing and the fire thrower things were so bloody hot considering it was the middle of summer.

I get it, and as I said, it’s a pity Jones didn’t make it an easy decision. He’s been serviceable so far this year, but today was absolutely sub standard. But I still don’t think they will drop him.

I said it in the post game thread, but I thought there was 0% chance we would see him back to his 2017 form again. The dash is back and his disposal has been tidier this year, he is a real weapon if this form keeps up.
