I was going to ask when and where we were playing but thought I'd do the right thing and look it up. About six clicks later through the AFL site and I had to download, open and zoom into a pdf document to find out. 12.05pm Sunday btw. at BCDHMOP stadium or something. Onya Gil, still killing the game at all levels. Why on earth wouldn't you just play it as a curtain raiser at the G? Comp is starting four weeks late. Ridiculous. Good to see it on Kayo at least.

That's a tough one. I think he may be permanently concussed.

I'm about one win away from heading over to the "is Goody the right guy?" Thread to confess my sins too. ??

I heard Goody in a post game presser. Might have been after the St Kilda game in round 2 when we kicked 12.19 He said something like "we might have to focus on our goal kicking a little this week, not that it's ever been an issue for us in the past" I almost choked on my beer. If Fritsch didn't kick straight on the weekend (and I'm really happy he seems to be straightening up), we could have been in a bit of strife again. Poor field and goal kicking has cost us so much over the past two years. I'm really glad Chocco is on to it. I think Goodwin is very lucky to have both Chocco and Yze working with him. Hats off to Yze as well. That continual rotation of players through the midfield would be giving midfielders small breaks to allow us to burst out of the packs with more speed and agression and keeping the opposition guessing. All of a sudden we have outside speed! At a guest it seems that Goody has realised he needs to listen and accept help from others. Looks like a great coaching combination. Fingers crossed we go 5-0 this weekend and head into Jones' 300th at the G against Richmond undefeated.

Exactly. It was never going to fly as the expert panel on channel 7 had already deemed it unanimously as accidental. I wouldn't say it was careless as he was quite careful on swinging that Elbow back with the intention to connect.

Spargo ducking on Selwood to pull the free was hilarious

Elbowed in the face by Hawkins. Has smashed his eye open.

Good energy but costly in some ways. Should be further in front but at least we're not being jumped and four goals down. Great to see the likes of Tmac and Jones really pushing hard. Even Brayshaw seems to be running hard Hope the weather holds and we run them off their feet.

Looking forward to Viney smashing some old cat's bodies. This is still one of my all time favourite photos.

Totally agree. I can't see how Melksham has earned a game. He was incredibly lazy last year. Couldn't understand how he ended up captain at one point. What message does it send to a young bloke like Sparrow.

Completely agree @binman. I don't think this club realises how good these girls are and how we should be promoting them. They're Wonderful role models and could recruit a huge bunch of kids to become Melbourne supporters. Really love watching them play at the moment. Just as much as watching the blokes. They never give in.
