Post Game: Rd 5 v St. Kilda
Membrey seemed to have a different defender every time. There's just no system or structure back there.

Nash. We were doing that pretty well early last year too

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs St Kilda
Get Dunn Garland and Frawley back. They know how to play this brand of football!
-
Should they be called out???
There's a great little show on the ABC -you can't ask that. Ask the people who are on the receiving end. Not a white bogan male. Roaming Brian - Round 4 vs Swans
I agree completely. I watched a replay of the final against Geelong a couple of weeks back and he was calling Angus Agnes. Segment should be renamed "tool in the sheds"

Goody Presser (10/4)
This 'buy in" talk just reeks. As some have commented, even the body language of our leaders seems off. It's intriguing and depressing. I'm usually really optimistic coming into games even over the crap of the last 10 to 20 years. Right now I'm not buying in either. I've never been been so disillusioned. Maybe it's because we started playing so well last year and now we're playing worse than the suns ffs

Changes vs Swans R4
TMAC is flat out running at the moment. He looked really sore on Friday.

Box Hill Hawks v Casey Demons - VFL Round 1
He might be retired by then?

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
As mentioned previously. Bring back Rawlings before he is poached!

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I swear we couldcopy and past posts from this time last year. Massive lapses where teams kick 5 to 7 goals against us in a row. Ball getting over the back of the press. We seemed to have learnt nothing

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Yeah I tend to agree. The team seems so flat and out of sorts at the moment.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Yep he looked really sore for most of the game.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
How about that grub Stringer in the first or second quarter. Gave away a free to Nev and then need him in the face. No 50

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Looks like it. Couple of good young players in the team. We could make finals in a couple of years.

Training - Thursday, 4th April 2019
Haha yes. Maybe even chasing people hopelessly back out of the forward line. If only Jesse was here. He could teach the boys how to make a vain attempt to pull a free kick when completely outnumbered. This tactic worked at least once every two games. 6 x forwards divided by 2 games equals 3 free kicks in front of goal! Oh wait. We usually only have one forward in the forward 50 when going forward.

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I agree. People are forgetting game 1 where we got run off our feet. Preuss will make us slower and our biggest danger is Essendon running us off our feet. Game 2 we just bombed it in. If our plan is to rest Gawn / Preuss in the goal square and bomb it in, we're screwed as well. We need to be faster. We need to lower our eyes. Not sure that Wagners are the answer but I don't think Preuss is.

How were the bombs into the forward line? Hope they practiced this lots as they didn't seem to work last weekend.....
-
Changes v Essendon
Yeah that was the most disappointing aspect of Saturday night for me. Regression back to bombing it in all night long..... Exactly the same as early last year.
-
Changes v Essendon
Not bombing it blindly into the forward line would be my most favoured change. I remember us doing this early last year. It should have been addressed by quarter time last night ffs.

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Geelong
Probably MDMA. Not matter how much you take it starts to wear off midway through the third.
