I agree. We don't need wholesale changes. The midfield just need to get their s#$t together. Nothing works if we don't take advantage of Gawns work.
-
And now they're trying to get west coke back into it.

Eddie Betts.....So what did happen??
Brownie replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
Totally agree. The guy wants to keep it private so let's write an article about it. As much sincerity as emperor Tang. -
I think Goody said something like that in his presser. Something like "weak in close makes you look slow out wide". Needs fixing over anything else. I reckon he'll keep Spargos in and Garlett hasn't delivered in a vfl team that has won it's last 5. Frost doesn't seem to be playing well enough either just from what I've read.
-
Was that Cale Morton that kicked that goal?
-
Completely agree. Gawn dominating. Midfield pus the last two weeks. Still in it. Viney and Jones need to drive this.
-
The occasion has got the most of us. Hopefully we'll settle

They can spew platitudes all day long. Gimme Viney over Rance any day

Yeah Chook. Been thinking the same thing over the last 6 weeks. It's starting to click into place
-
I bet he gets the afl grand final because the w@#$ers at afl house and channel 7 think his dribble to players makes great TV
-
I think Jesse's should be goal of the week just for the comedy gold going on in the background with Gawn and his opponent while Hoges was kicking it.

Read in the vfl thread that Frost was still letting the ball get over his head and out the back yesterday. I hated those "party out the back" moments earlier this season before we tightened up. Don't think the coaches would like it either. I think hibbo will take on Levers role and wagner or smith will come in on form. Jetta can go to Cox. Nev would probably beat him ?

Some great words from Jack Viney and Nathan Jones on social media today. It's been pretty s..t being a demons supporter over the past decade but we get to walk away from all the lousy defeats every weekend. This bloke has had to front up every Monday and every pre-season and lead the club. Great to see him finally enjoying his footy.

I thought he played a great game as loose man in defence for the doggies

What’s really changed since our last loss?
Brownie replied to The team we love's topic in Melbourne Demons
Great thread. We spend so much time analysing defeats. I'very been wondering what's made everything click. I agree with all of the above and also. Disposal efficiency has been great Our spread around the packs seems to also have more room for us than other teams. We're getting it out of packs fast and efficiently. Our whole style of playing is clicking into gear at both afl and vfl levels. -
Afl is like watching aus kick right now. Just woeful. I hope the Afl doesn't respond by stuffing around with the rules. I also agree that our club is starting to blow the congestion apart and the game will open up again. Our style of play will be copied if we and the tiges keep succeeding with tough open fast footy

Some background http://demonwiki.org/Round+6+1992 And a great weekly wrap up of every MFC game. Chris sullivan line may get a mention http://mfcdemonblog.blogspot.com.au/?m=1

I did a victory lap around the loungeroom when we broke the chris sullivan line right before half time. Second half spent with my feet on the table. Pure luxury

At least Bruce Mc could call the names of the players. Loved the line from BT. "Spargos been a revelation since being moved forward this year" Or "TMAC has gone from strength to strength as the season has gone on" Felt sorry for Daisy having to spend time in the desert with BT doing fluff pieces. Can anyone point me at footage of team song sung in the local language? Great to see the club persevering with communities up there. I'm still in shock at the way everything has clicked now for both the seniors and vfl teams. Go Dees

Loved watching him with a grin from ear to ear as he walked off the field last Sunday. His kicking and work in and under is a joy to watch. Watching him lift the cup would be so sweet.

yeah I was thinking about how more effectively they do it with horse racing. Drag them into a room after the game and have a cheif steward sort it out on the spot.
