The biggest take from our last 2 games is the way we have responded to teams jumping us in the 1st qrts. Instead of dees of old we seem to have kept our wits about us (not demonland) and have fought back. Let the old cats give us all they have and find themselves out of petrol in tge 2nd half.

Huge game for us. The chance to be 4 zip was not a prospect it seemed after that dogs scratch match. If we get it done then we are definate finals contenders. Go you good demons.

Well lije it or not Melk is in. Hopefully he proves his selection. If he fails then that will do Heres hoping he gets his old form back.

After Hogan and Watts left and then poor Tommy went mia we were screaming for someone else. Now look at us. Choc full.?

Clearly some late love for Milkshake here. It would be awesome if he could recature his old form. It was silky smooth. Worth a shot at Sparrow's expense. Will happen. A one off af least.

2018 Melk was awesome and on that form is a lock every game. Its a gamble but not a huge one as Sparrow while fierce has not been fantastic. My feeling is that he will be another tall that we need given Tmac was shaky last week and Jackson has not kicked many goals. Like Tmac, Melk has all the skills. Will he bring them? If hes selected I think players know there aint much room for passengers.

I understand this post. If melk is in for sparrow I believe it will come from view that he will increase our scoreboard pressure. He is more likely to kick goals than Sparrow who is still learning. Yea melk was poor last year lets be honest but so were a few others. At his best he was a sharpshooter who plays tall. Sparrows been good but not on fire. Hes young. With tmac being quiet last week i guess melk makes more sense. lll trust the club and wait and see.

Off topic I know but... Wondering how hoth brown and weid fit in. Does Tmac come out? What if hes going gangbusters. Does Fritta go to the wing? Will Jackson get dropped? Its going to be very interesting as surely having them both in is the ideal.

If this game was on 2 years ago I would argue it hinged on the 2 Toms Tom h seems to be having less impact and Im certain May will get the chocolates. Tom m was instrumental in our 1st to wins but bought liitle against the giants. Last week showed we dont rely on key players as much as we used too and I think the cats do. No dangerfield. Tag Oliver and jv rocks up. Crowd our talls out and Kozzie kicks 4. May gets beaten by toby.g but Hunt has a ripper. Trac looked quiet but Gawn pops up with 9 marks and 21 touches. I wouldnt be surprised if Jones had a big game this weekend and Anb featured in the top votes.

Oh stats. Could he have been sharper? No doubt about it. Was he one of our best. No doubt about it. Games and players are different each week. It depends on how much pressure is exerted... If hes being targeted....how much running hes done.....if its early in the season...what his teamates are doing.. Besides you can only have 9 clangers if you get 30 touches? As for Gawn...BOG last week.

Yep Oliver was well tagged and at times missed targets. Especially easy shots at goal. However ..Gawn was supreme. Took nine marks, dominated the ruck and gathered 21 possies. Sure he missed an easy said shot but made up with 2 other goals...one a great snap from almost 45m. His skills helped other score involvements. His defensive efforts were stong. Could not have played better FT. Trac was brilliant against the saints and as for execution of skills could not have done better.

It will be good to see b.b in a melbourne colours.
