Yep. In reality it's really another interstate game.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Saints have lost their last 12 matches at Geelong’s home ground. Glad we finally got passed over to play down there this year. Did the filth? Probably not .

Still time for the Saints but credit to them for tonight's effort anyway.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Earlier I'm pretty sure I heard one of the c7 commentators claim cats have won 84 out of the last 100 there. If that's true it's a big bias. And in any case your right. Their usual 9 wins at home are the standard foundation to get them into the eight.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Nothing to see both players going hard....play on. Oh wait a free to the cats.

The pub people test. Who would you rather have a beer with... Tim Scott or Ross Lyon?

NON-MFC: Round 01
Why has there been so much love for the Crows this year? Are they really finals material? Looking pretty lackluster.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Thats a huge stat if true ...that Cats have won 84 out of 100 games at Kardinia. Explains two things....cats appearance in so many finals. Why they lose so many.

I think it's still a thing but just not the flavor of the week.

CASEY: Practice Match vs Coburg
Yea I think we've all been a bit short sighted and overly optimistic re Petty's return. Good call Roost it a long ways.

CASEY: Practice Match vs Coburg
Not good re Petty. Tommo could be feeling a little flat Thanks for the update Picket.

Tasmanian AFL Team
I know I'll get uproar for this but I'm not sure I want a Tasmanian club. Well if I do, I would like to eliminate gws or Gcs. Preferably the latter. My response is from a totally selfish perspective. More clubs increases the difficulty of winning a flag. Ok it's exciting having a national comp. But the in old days of 12 clubs you were more likely to win a cup than today's 18. And while Tassie may not be a powerhouse like some istate clubs we have seen, it's possible it will get favored treatment and have unfair advantages. Also look at the competition that Gws offer in such a short amount of time. Food for thought.

Good news week (positive news only)
How good to see the club having players leave on terms where they are happy to be back again. I don't know why he left or was not renewed but having a player return is a big tick in my book.

Jesse Hogan
One of my favorite players when at Mfc. Still have a soft spot for him with all he went through. Great to see him firing. Just have a poor one V us please Jesse.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Their dash was a joy to watch. To be fair to the other poster, I thought the Swans did flood the Pies fwd line. They did it consistently and effectively. Just like they did to us. Edit just read the other post again. I see what you mean. Cheers Lord Travis

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
I think your a tad too reactive here 58er. Observing and mentioning Tom's last two legitimate games vis a vis Tommo's non selection, doesn't necessarily equate to a criticism of the bloke. Ps I hope hes fine too. Very much so. Been an absolute champion of the game for us and still relatively young.
