  1. In beating us and they who won't be named, Swannies have put their have put their hand up to show they are the real deal this year. Underestimate at your own peril. It was also a big record crowd up their on Swans home turf. Will we be better off today with a game up our sleeve compared to dogs. I think so.
  2. Thanks very much Forever Demons. Always helpful. I hope he gets at least a quarter. Enjoy the game mate.
  3. Some points of interest for me... How Oliver will fare after a game under his belt. How Kozzie plays. I'm expecting a big year from him. How Jvr and Gawn will respond after mediocre games. And of course all eyes on Bbb. Who is our sub today please?
  4. Harmes gets a forever free pass for that one famous possie and kick to Fritta.
  5. Yep. In reality it's really another interstate game.
  6. Saints have lost their last 12 matches at Geelong’s home ground. Glad we finally got passed over to play down there this year. Did the filth? Probably not .
  7. Well here we all are again. Laughter or tears. Praise or criticism. I'm not very confident but I'm glad footy is back. As Uncle Bitters mentioned, good to see Kozzie back. Us by elevensees. ( Maybe).
  8. Still time for the Saints but credit to them for tonight's effort anyway.
  9. Earlier I'm pretty sure I heard one of the c7 commentators claim cats have won 84 out of the last 100 there. If that's true it's a big bias. And in any case your right. Their usual 9 wins at home are the standard foundation to get them into the eight.
  10. Nothing to see both players going hard....play on. Oh wait a free to the cats.
  11. How was that not incorrect disposal?
  12. The pub people test. Who would you rather have a beer with... Tim Scott or Ross Lyon?
  13. Why has there been so much love for the Crows this year? Are they really finals material? Looking pretty lackluster.
  14. Thats a huge stat if true ...that Cats have won 84 out of 100 games at Kardinia. Explains two things....cats appearance in so many finals. Why they lose so many.
  15. I think it's still a thing but just not the flavor of the week.
  16. Wasn't last night.
  17. Damn that Gws song is growing on me.
  18. Best of luck Omac. l
  19. At least the Roos can kick straight.
  20. Hogan to Bedford ......goal. Those were the days.
  21. Yea I think we've all been a bit short sighted and overly optimistic re Petty's return. Good call Roost it a long ways.
  22. Not good re Petty. Tommo could be feeling a little flat Thanks for the update Picket.
  23. I know I'll get uproar for this but I'm not sure I want a Tasmanian club. Well if I do, I would like to eliminate gws or Gcs. Preferably the latter. My response is from a totally selfish perspective. More clubs increases the difficulty of winning a flag. Ok it's exciting having a national comp. But the in old days of 12 clubs you were more likely to win a cup than today's 18. And while Tassie may not be a powerhouse like some istate clubs we have seen, it's possible it will get favored treatment and have unfair advantages. Also look at the competition that Gws offer in such a short amount of time. Food for thought.
