Its an obvious point you make and as much as I want us to play finals. I want us to be competitive. I dont want to make the finals to make up the numbers as do you Im sure. In that sense its not unreasonable to expect to beat bottom teams (assuming freo dont improve much) by a reasonable margin at our home ground. Given the outs of a few key players your assessment is probably accurate but a deecnt 10 goal win would be great to watch and wonderful for team confidence. Hope Spencer does well. I think he will surprise a few.

Lets hope they get lots of room at our home ground. Nothing as exciting as watching Garlett getting one "over the top" and burning off his opponent. Although his effort towards the end of the last season dropped off a little he has been a great addition. He plays tall for his size and uses what body mass and strength he has very well. Hope he kicks at least five.

I understand your post but I would prefer weid over smith and I think one of them will be in the side. Weid is the future at 19 compared to 26 yo T. smith. Its a shame the other smith (sos) is out injured.

You missed my point. Smith and weids didnt have enough experience. They are not small frwds and there inexperience showed under a strong backline.. Sure we missed a lot but that happens. Having pedo or spencer in for one of those players would have iced it for us.
