Several dees players in the media after last weeks win talking the club up again. I know they have duties and careers but I wish we could sometimes hide after a win and let our footy talk for us. Been a big problem of getting ahead of ourselves and losing after a big win. Hope it doesnt happen again this weekend as its a chance to stake a top 4 spot.

Just like poor L. Dunn who couldnt get a game last year for us. Im not sure Pedo would have had a look in without our injury problems. He was on the outer for a while.

MFC's experiment with no ruck (or necessity) has been much discussed by commentators. Our midfield has done well to negate tap outs and not get smashed in clearances.Spencer is not the worst ruck but hes not great in other areas. I wouldn't go as far to call him a list clogger but his tenure will no doubt be actively and justly challenged at the end of the year or contract. The guy has never had a clear run at AFL level being second fiddle to one of the best.

Its not just the ruck issue. Pedo belongs up frwd without Hogan.

To be fair he's second fiddle to all Australian. Hes an average second ruck. What about the other 2 young rucks we have in development? You could argue the club has no confidence in them either.

Would be great to have Pedo up forward for at least half a game with Spencer in. A big solid forward was a glaring absence against pies. ANB has improved dramatically so should remain. Salem will get a game again. If the spotlights on anyone.... its Jordan Lewis this weekend.

Not sure about your Frost praise. Seemed to make many poor choices today especially his constant play on, often straight into oppo players. Jetta only made one major error as well. He was very good.

This was without doubt the one game when Oliver kicked more than he handballed. 15 k to 11 HB to be exact. Didnt you watch him?

The big thing about this club is its seemingly lack of superstars. Apart from Oliver not many others constantly play blinders. The talent is evenly spread with different match winners popping up every week including even OMac.

Pies took almost twice the number of marks. Smashed the hit outs and still lost. Viney, Oliver and Trac had an awesome second half. So funny Watts kicked that goal after pies supporters booing him again.
