  1. Yep and i feel bad supporting them.
  2. They are indeed and i feel more confident against lions...cats and dogs than them.
  3. This post is probably fifty five percent correct.
  4. Maybe it will next year. With Adam T back in and Smith doing well than he may well be trialled at chf.
  5. This year and and our current list is the dawn of a new era for the Mfc. May we go from strength to strength.
  6. Would love to see Petty up fwd.
  7. Feel really sorry for Hibberd who has done more than required of him for the year.
  8. Your a mean sod. But by God your funny.
  9. Watched Levers kick to Max a dozen times now. Can't fathom him being unmanned. Cats perhaps thought Lever going the long kick for goal. Poor footy as well as smart footy from Max and Jake. Although Kozzie could have got in the way if he ran into that space.
  10. Looking at all finals odds theres not much bw them all. Dogs the strongest but not by much. Been a tough close season. Port faves too which is interesting. Glad we are not playing them despite our last encounter.
  11. A 57 year old aged whiskey would have been good.
  12. If someone told me two years ago that we would win a flag in 2021 but the Gf would be in Perth and I couldn't get to it I think my mfcss would get the better of me. Now I couldn't care less. Just so happy to be in contention.
  13. Off topic Mr T Uranus.. But it was interesting to look at a few of some pundits pre 2021 proclamations about the make up of the final eight. We were mostly forgotten with the odd inclusion as eighth now and then. https://www.afl.com.au/news/560486/crystal-ball-our-predictions-for-the-2021-afl-season-are-in
  14. I reckon that was one of our best wins until last weekend.
  15. That and playing at Kardinia gets tiresome every year. Although a big Shout out to Max.😁
  16. I dont have an issue with this.
  17. Port going in on winning streak will be tough. We have done well to win our last four unlike cats and dogs. This will be a red hot finals series. Lions kicking some high scores will come up against a solid defence but our forwards especially Tmac will have to lift a lot. Not too worried about the dons who make up the numbers but all seven others are great teams this year especially the Swans. Gws and dogs we have an equal record.
  18. Can Weid play as a defender? Would he be any good in that role? Maybe on that basis worth keeping. I would love seeing Petty at Chf at some stage. Reckon he would crush it.
  19. Well this is a better option than the chance of playing port in ADelaide. Just hope all the non mfc fans don't hate us for beating eagles and boo us to death. Alice Springs would have been my choice but probably too small.
  20. This is a really tough one. He has been a great gutsy player, captain and loyal servant of the Mfc . Is he good enough to play ie best 22 and if so is there a specific player for him to nullify? The idea of medical sub sounds good but it carries a risk element if we lose someone early. There is so much at stake that if hes not best 22 then the smart thing would be to leave him out. I would say that given the depth of our list and lack of injuries he's not playing again. Its tough but flag chances have been bloody tough to say the least. Sadly NJ would be the first to accept his omission for the sake of a flag.
  21. Its hard to see cats go out in straight sets as much as I would enjoy it. I think your on the money with Port at home in hot form to take them out. But given their forward line I get the feeling we may see them again. But who knows, outside of the Dons all of these teams are dangerously talented so it will be one hell of a finals series.
  22. He does do it but in all fairness as a smaller player one doesn't have to do that much to be given high contact frees.
  23. Frostys style was the opposite of Levers calmness😁
  24. Great post Chook. He was in his best form circa 2018. I was always surprised how fast he was. And Hogan was awesome. Also Garlett. When those two were firing as was Tmac we had a powerful forward line. But we had no Fritta or Bbb.
  25. Frost was a big part of our success that year but it was always heart in mouth stuff. Id forgotten until we played hawks first time this year. Omac.. well Ill keep quiet. Im glad you think Bbb is an improvement because I think he has been very good and perhaps will be a wildcard in the finals like Weid was. But the maturity of our Mids is a big difference as well as Langdon who I feel is finally back to his old form.
