"Bangladesh became only the fourth ODI side to score 200 after having lost three wickets for under five." I find that a weird stat - how often have teams been 3 for less than 5?

This argument cannot seriously be back.

I'll be there on Sunday, which gives me the pleasure of farewelling this horrible season in person! (Hopefully with a smile on the face)

[ url=http://www.google.com]My link This is how it looks when you insert a webpage. Use what's written above, but change www.google.com to whatever webpage you're linking to, keep the parentheses et al. And change "my link" to whatever you want to appear as the link. (To make it a link, you just get rid of that space before the u in url)

Well, it's truly set up for a great finish. Cadel will go third from the last, so Andy will have a few minutes to see what Cadel is doing. My understanding is that 42.5 is a relatively short tour. 2 years ago, Andy lost abotu 1 minute 40 to Contador on the individual time trial, last year he only lost 30 seconds. Two years ago, Andy only lost 30 seconds to Cadel on the time trial. Obviously there are many other factors to consider there, but this isn't the fait accompli that some people are making it out to be. Cadel is favourite, but you'd be mad to write off the gutsy younger Schleck brother. The yellow jersey allows you to do crazy things. On a side note I almost vomited when the Australian commentator said that the yellow may be a burden to Schleck and may hinder his performance. What rubbish, just because it's the Australian in second commentators lose their brain. All tour they rattle on about how the yellow jersey makes people fly and dig deeper, unprofessional in my view. Not that it's a big gripe, and obviously I'm biased, but the people saying how brave Cadel was to hold on against Schleck two nights ago without a whisper of Schleck's 60km solo breakaway effort are just being ridiculous. Evans rode this stage a minute ago and will go close. Schleck by 5 seconds after tonight.

Schleck will start his run in 12 hours and 4 minutes I believe. Or 12:18 a.m. tomorrow morning.

When you're on the page you would like to link (in this case, the article) click the address bar so that the website name goes blue. Hold down control and press C (which copies the text) or alternatively you can click edit up the top of the page and select copy. In a post on D'Land, click the button next to the smiley face that says insert link (it looks like a chain with a plus?). Where it says URL, hold control and press v (which pastes what you've already copied) or alternatively click the right mouse button and select paste. You can also go into edit up the top and click paste. Link text means whatever you write will be what appears in your post for people to click on. In this case, Tom Scully's knee.

Certainly have. He's been my boy since he consistently buried himself for his brother in his first tour. Was going to put a 5er on him to win the stage last night at 9-1 but chickened out. Enjoyed it equally in the end anyway! Tonight's stage is great, Contador attacking early.

Maybe we could get Craig Nettlebeck back and throw him in too...
  16. 45HG replied to Deano74's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Why not throw in Dunn?

Does it look a bit like this?

Australians' Barty and Saville took out the juniors girls and boys victories respectively.

But I think that using one game to "prove" the already-present feeling that the MFC wasn't going anywhere and everyone needs to go has everything to do with it IMO.

Since posting this thread we've lost 6 on the trot. I follow the ABL a bit mate, just found it a bit hard to get to (soft, I know, but the passion isn't really there for a team that's existed for one season). Good fun there though, did you go along?

I've wanted to start an MLB thread for quite a while, but have never really got around to it. I suppose it's because I felt that with 2430 games per season (plus playoffs) per season, it'd be too hard to keep up with. But I thought I may as well make it and see what happens. Personally, I'm a White Sox fan. Hoping we can get to the top of our division on the back of a good hitting lineup. Unfortuantely 3 times already we've lost in the 9th/10th inning after leading. We're currently 5-5 in the top of the 10th. Anyone else keen?
