Anyone for cricket?
KP's 5 may worry the poms a little but really they seemed hardly troubled. Even the wickets were just a mixture of mis-timed shots, slips, brain fades and missing a straight ball. A few of these guys with the bat may be a show for a spot this summer, so I hope to see them (Hughes, Khawaja, White) especially.

Yeah not sure if there's another person, there may be. Ha. I used to love Michael Vick so much I almost went for Atlanta just because of him. Absolute headcase but boy can he play. To be honest, I haven't paid too much attention so far thie season. Been much more interested in the baseball. It's hard to watch the games with school on the Mon/Tues but managed to catch last week's win over Vick's old mob. We're looking pretty good, pretty good situation to be in to have Kolb as reserve. Big game Sunday. Tennessee are 3-0 on the road and we're 1-2 at home. Would be a big win to go into the break with. Edit: Just realised it's an away game.

Spurs. Unreal. Pretty much every European game we play is completely whack. 13 minutes in against Inter: 3-0 down with our keeper sent off. 35 minutes in: 4-0 down. Bale scores a second half hat-trick (including one of the best of the season) and we finish 4-3 losers having played over 80 minutes with 10 men.

Hauritz has played 17 matches over 6 years with a bowling average of 34. Smith has played 12 first class matches for a bowling average of 48.84. Cameron White has played 4 tests for an average of 68 and 108 First Class matches for an average of 40. I'm all for trying new blood, but can see why Hauritz was played.

Can you, for once, back up a rant with some substance. Who should be playing instead whom? " If a bowler continues not to bowl to plan, then as captain first i would ask why? and try to fix it. If it continues then a new bowler must be used" - sounds pretty reactionary to me. It's a brilliant point, I'm sure Ponting hasn't thought of going to those lengths to see why a bowler is not doing his job.
