You know what they use to say when there were less rotations, they might get tired but they don't get shorter, it will go back to the old days, in the 4 th Q teams would plonk their talls in the goal square many goals were kicked in last quarters, when men get tired they will spread out more, the game will open up. -

Past performance don't dictate future performances, who could have predicted that Clayton would become one of the top 5 midfielders in the competition -

The Most Talented List According to Champion Data

That does not mean they are better then us, gee the eagles beat the crows in round 23, so that must mean they are better then them, in a season of 22 games we missed the finals by the smallest margin in history, and were in the 8 for most of the year they never got close to it, your response is what a four 4 year old would say. -
You don't get sacked for going to the Union, and if they do as long you have been there for more then 6 months, thats unfair dismissal, sometimes you have to go to the Union before the boss, who can represent you better than you can, if we make finals it will be nothing to do with a boot camp. Let's end this stupidity. Wait and see if we don't do well, than the told you so's will beat their chest and be happy in the their misery.
-
We should have won the flag last year we are the only one's who did the camp last year, and only the hawks send up there first to 2 nd year players to kokoda, were did they come this year, not the best anymore, their flag was 3 seasons ago, no other club does this camp it has no value what so ever, the players are all going to the camp up north, which will be hard enough, by the sounds of it, it was only a few young players if it were the leadership group going to the alfpa then there is a problem, Richmond did no boot camp and won the flag, they mostly got in touch with their feelings, that was seen as soft Once Upon a Time.
-
There is only a problem if the players lose the trust in Goodwin's game plan if the believe in his game plan then there is no problem, this is all mfcss many are just looking for something to go wrong
-
Gysberts never liked hard work, no one will ever succeed with poor work ethic, tapscott biggest problem was he had no fear and kept on getting crunched in the middle of Packs, which lead to him have a sore back, he just kept on getting hurt.

An interesting listen of an outsider's perspective of our list

One day the swans will bottom out also the cats it might not be in the next year or 2 or 3 but everyone will go there, the roos have managed to stay away from bottoming out until last year, everyone does, teams like the hawks have not even reached their bottom, they have given up a lot of picks in the last 2 years, it will bite them on the ass, and the only reason Geelong have not bottom out is because the best player wanted to go home, I believe this is their last chance to get a flag how long can Dangerfield play at the level he is playing at now, Joel is ageing, and Gary is a big risk, if anyone of them goes down they will fall so fast. -

Culture is the most overrated saying in football every club at some point will have a good one and bad one, nothing stays the same. Let's look at the NBA it has had a draft and free agency for longer then the AFL. 2 great teams the bulls and Lakers have won lots of flags, at some point people would of said they both have great cultures and will never bottom out, the bulls have had no success since Jordon the Lakers have been at the bottom for the last few years, everyone will bottom out at some point when u have a cap draft and free agency. -

It's all noise, I want the team to not believe the hype, I want them to think they have no Talent, that way they will do all the hard things, the only reason we did not make finals is every time we had a big lead in games we took the foot of the pedal, it started in round 1 when we let the saints kick the last 2 goals, and it happened all the way till round 22, I hope the team has learnt that its never over until the final siren, we must finish strong. -
True but Bret could play, he knew were to go to get the ball, he was a good ball winner no one can deny that at least, people will say he only just pumped it long, and that is true but he could get it.

Nothing wrong with pointers hodge is a pointer, some of the best are pointers, that was one of the reasons the Hawks defence improved in the second half of last year, hodge was pointing telling the inexperienced young players were to go.

Joel selwood was in rehab all of 2017, preseason, played all year had a good year, I find it stupid how some people think you can't get fit swimming and riding, all which works on a person lungs, he is running, he does not need to train in main group if he is running, then he will make a impact this season, if he is not running then he will not. -
His not that good, the Hawthorne sides that he played against had 10 to 15 players better the flower.
-
Why do I feel uneasy about this year first 2 games are real danger games, could easily lose to Geelong also then to a new look Brisbane in Brisbane with super human hodge, be 0 and 2 and everybody will be baying for blood, huge doubts will be running through the playing list, I guess these bad feelings won't go away until after we win these two games, but lose and panic stations will be everywhere, please let me be wrong.

It is interesting that most ABC listener are older Australian's, who also mostly vote LNP and under a LNP government the ABC will get huge funding cuts, because the ABC refuse to only report the LNP like Murdock press does, they want the ABC to not report negative stories about the Australian government, for example the refugees treatment by Australia, and when the LNP banned government ministers going on Q&A, after these 2 issues massive funding cuts started at the ABC, do u agree with that. A vote for LNP is a vote for ABC funding cuts,

How Good Draft Choices Can Make or Break an AFL Team

It is not a Furphy and 2011 is a long time ago it's a different team, I am talking about in the he last 3 years, not 7, every year is different, do u know we played docklands better in 2017 then at the MCG. -

Well it is a big year for Richmond, I think in the long run a small forward line is u unsustainable, if rotations go to say 60 a game, it will not be as successful, they might get tired but they don't get shorter. Richmond are a good side who had a bad 2016, this gave them a fixture for a ordinary team, what people don't remember is GWS have only ever won 1 game at the MCG, and Adelaide don't have a good record at the MCG, Geelong also don't play the MCG well because Kardinia is a odd shape oval, and they don't play well at the MCG, all their cards fell in the right places, if they go top 4 again then they deserve to be called a great team.
