Is the pre-season camp debacle still relevant?
Demon trucker replied to Deefensive Language's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well that's because I don't work night shift as much, use to start work at 9 and finish around 12 the next day now I don't start until after 3am, and don't get into radio reception at 5am, to hard to get on talk back radio during the day, but that's like you make assumptions based on your own opinions, and things you don't know nothing about rather than the actual facts -
Is the pre-season camp debacle still relevant?

How did the same camp go for the Crows, that camp has fractured their coaches relationship with many of his players -

You guys are [censored] in the head to make a connection, with this year and a camp that did not happen in 2017, why not bring up the smith sacking, let's all slash our wrists, hell let's go back to 186, surely that has a impact in 2019 -

Yes in the rookie draft, u lose nothing, but I think no one will pick him until next years mid season drift if he is injury free by then. -

Bull dust never hurt Richmond they pick dusty and Sydney stack, who is the second best player out of Last draft, that sort of thinking is why we pick Lucas cook over Darling, and players like jack Grimes nice guys come last. -
Bull dust just another sponsors they come and go and make little impact on football.
-
when sides are winning and their in the 8- they are relevant, when sides are losing and their not in the 8, they are irrelevant that happens to every single Club even Richmond when they are down the bottom and Carlton.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Demon trucker replied to Tinks's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's not true Richmond never put Dusty on the trade table, Dusty's manager shopped Dusty around, he even invited himself to have a look around at GWS training Base, then Caroline Wilson wrote a couple of bad articles about Dusty and all of a sudden nobody wanted him. -

Dusty was always a better player then both scully and trengove, all Scilly has is his running power Trengove was alway a 1, dimensional player, the only reason he went at 3 is because of his family background -

All u viney Hater's will eat your words, and then eat a hip and shoulder from jack next year, the coming preseason will be jacks first without his foot issues, and then hopefully his first full preseason in 3 years. -
Roosy: "Deplorable" Dees have "no recognisable brand"
Demon trucker replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
How many of our loses have we been in front at some point in the last qtr, I count at least 5 times, the side has never recovered from the poor preseason and the constant injury list that's numbered at least 12 plus all year. Yes I know what people will say that other teams have had injuries and are winning like the pies, but how many games have they won in the last 6 weeks when their injury list has been at it's highest, in the first 10 weeks they had very few injuries, now there missing a few and have struggled to win. And some will say the eagles had 12 off season surgeries, but they have had hardly any injuries though out the season. -
David King puts the Boot ? in

Strategy and game plan is not only the coaches jobs Craig Jennings is the strategy man, he has not been able to adjust the game plan with the 666 rule, Jennings has to go, just like essendon did with neeld he was the strategy and game plan man. this is not the 80's where the coach was the main man, Jennings should have gone mid season. -
Yeah OK but how many games did may, lever and Hibbard play together other clubs target forwards and midfielders this obsession with chasing defender has left the forward line and midfield with holes, the list is full of defenders, it's getting close to having 15 defender on the list, josh has to go or we will have only defender's on the list.

The funny thing is most of our set shot misses have been 25 meters directly in front, that's easy for under 14s

The knee jerker be clam Panicking never helped anyone, you just have to look at the collingwood and Richmond examples, it takes time to learn to be a good coach, any way too many clubs are looking for coaches, sack Goodwin and good chances you replace him with another L plate coach that's no better, all Master coaches come out of hard times. Alastair Clarkson did not just come out as a master coach, his first 3 years were in the bottom 4, then finals then a premiership, then missing finals, then the master coach was made not born. If the club was to move Goodwin then we must offer clarkson or hardwick a godfather offer anyone else is just wallpapering over the cracks.
-
I was going to say the same thing, last year did not come out of the blue, this year is a aberration but, the end of this season can tell us nothing, it's all about round 12 next year, that is the only realistic point where Goodwin can be judged and executed.
-
Why have we fallen so far, injuries and the worst case of goal kicking yips ever, last year was not a aberration this year is. We have out played the meth coast both times, and both times bad goal kicking cost us the game. It's 2 easy things to fix, why did the Crows fall last year and rise up so far this year, one thing injuries. Why have we fallen so far injuries. People just don't want to use injuries as an excuse but you know what it determines a season it has for years,, the team has improved as the season has gone on, but the injuries are still counting up. Am sure missing from 30 to 25 meters in front of goal is not part of Goodwins game plan, the best game plan in the world can't make up for bad goal kicking.
-
They did not bend us over, over lever we bent over and said insert it here.
-
The best back line in the AFL does not excite me, the best back line with a non existent forward line won't win you games, no great team ever had the best back line without a great forward half.

How old was Ronald when he left, his playing career was over by then, he went to Carlton mostly as a coach, and why did he because norm smith told him to, if he wanted to coach.
