the Australian culture those oldies grew from, was the close-knit Aussie culture after the wars. teamwork was commonplace. nowadays differing cultures brought up within competative fight to survive culture has people divided. kids from the wrong ethnicity are on the outside wanting in but rejected most of their lives. when some get the high foothold that competitiveness can turn spiteful. I still think Kyrios is the pick of all, & will be a great Aussie.

I wanted us to get Weideman somehow, & if we manged to snavel a mid before, then great. We got Wiedeman, & this other kid I never heard of, prior to the weid.

Does anyone else think Kyrios is our most talented up&comer? I think he's doing well for such a young fella on the international pro stage with his game. the behaviours will slowly mature as he feels more at ease in the environment.

I think your referring to the talk of $cully not smiling in his initial club photo at the draft, & after jumper presentation... $cully didn't smile,,,,,, & as it happens $cully indeed did leave for Foreign X-change pastures... .... so yes, the irony of him not smiling immediately after getting drafted & presented with the Dees jumper was an indication of his mood, & future thoughts.

IMO Kyrios is a kid who had Tomic as a peer model for last few years. outspoken brash is nothing wrong, as its him..... but under pressure it can leave him sounding like a pratt. I just have wondered what Tomics attitude over the last 3 years has done to Kyrios attitude.. I think Kyrios appears to be settling, after a pressure filled 12 months, & Kyrios is the talented one with agility & speed & court coverage & shots.
