  1. I meant grand final *sprint*. And now all humour has been lost.
  2. I'm keen to see O-Mac in a grand final sprint tbh.
  3. A good thing raw numbers tell SFA.
  4. Is that you Mahoney you cheeky bastard you?
  5. According to @ProDee you do.
  6. Overs is it? So if May came and helped us win a flag over the next two or three years, would you still be whinging about giving up a pick 5? A pick that is no guarantee to have the impact May would most certainly have given his body of work as a key defender to date? Steven May we're talking about yeh? A captain of a club who was consistently rated amongst the top 5 key defenders in the league until this year? Yeh cool. Yourself and others that hold that opinion are genuine nuff nuffs.
  7. From what you've heard? What, reading the countless pages of nonsense on this thread? The way some posters talk about this fiasco acting like they 'know' something is brilliant.
  8. Lol, if this is Stuie, I must admit I miss you. Not sure about the username though. Way to make yourself remain uber anonymous... 'Superrrrrrunknownnn'.. haha
  9. Range Rover or E25? Or were they the same person? I've never understood why people create multiple accounts. A bit weird.
  10. There is. But only after you've built one of the strongest lists within the AFL through the draft. Which they did from 04 - 08 and won a flag early. The foundations were laid then and there and now they have the luxury of trading for ready made guns because of the way they've slowly let some of their older guys go. They also have arguably the strongest VFL affiliate side with the strongest pathway program. Our core are around the 23 y/o mark. The hope is to retain most of them so that we can set up our club in a similar way.
  11. You're like ProDee, but only cooler because you have Bruce Lee as your profile pic. Edit* - I have similar thoughts on Jesse and his output to date.
  12. Nah but how about that Winx though..
  13. No, the issue for Tyson is that he is too one-dimensional as a player. He was pushed out because all of our other inside mids offer variety in other parts of their game. Tyson is win ball at the coal face and release ball asap with quick hands. He literally doesn't offer anything else to our side.
  14. It's 2018 and we've just come off a prelim final loss. Our time is now. Look at the different phases our list has gone through since 2013, a year in which we finished second bottom with a percentage of 54. We've built through the draft and have an abundance of talent now who are all hitting the 50+ game mark together. We culled what we needed to during those dark years and at the same time needed to pick up some mature stop-gap players who are now being pushed out of our side. Whilst unfortunate for the individuals, these signs are nothing but positives for our club. Players like Tyson, Kent, Bugg and Pedo have all been serviceable during our rebuild. Tyson even had a better than serviceable year as an inside mid but our younger talent have developed and pushed him out. Again, a positive outcome. Just trust the FD. Look at the position we're in. How can you be worried? We're in need of some specific improvement to make those couple of last steps which means losing a few along the way. No biggie if we want that flag.
  15. Lol this thread is now officially worse than trade radio.
  16. It's like seeing an ex with their new lover in public. I feel dirty. And I want to cry.
  17. Rule? Interesting.
  18. You should post less often.
  19. Haha. Give me a description.
  20. Lols. I didn't hear it, what did Dal Santo say?
  21. Agree, he had a good okay year...
  22. We're yet to see who will land at the club. It might be worth holding off on that call just yet.
  23. I disagree. I think we played Tyson over Fritsch because he is experienced and was considered to be more 'finals ready'. He admitted he was nervous about being dropped and his three finals were all extremely underwhelming. His manager has now come out suggesting he'd be open to a trade. Clearly, and I mean clearly, he is not considered best 22 when we have a full squad available.
  24. I enjoy pesting when posters are so sure that a player is heavily entrenched in the best 22 at the start of the year and refuse to see the guys obvious weaknesses that continue to keep him at the level he is at.
  25. All three are faster than McDonald who is slow. That's just a fact. Hurn is actually quite fleet of foot and Barass and McGovern have a quick first few steps and quick reaction time. Which is why they both intercept so well. Oscar is both slow on the run and has slow reaction time. Not that I'm potting him. He had an okay year.
