  1. I can’t read this. Thank god the club has moved on, I’m going with them.
  2. Even with the odd crazy result, there are so many teams there or thereabouts that I can’t see 12 wins being enough. Must beat Adelaide or it’s curtains.
  3. It’s not actually Goodys fault - it’s mine ive been to the Cats, Tigers, Pies losses. Thought I’d go along to hear the song today. Left when the Saints went 20 pts up in the last with 4 mind to play, our guys decide then it’s time to try to win it and kick 3 late goals and nearly pinch it. Ive learned my lesson, won’t be going again this year. I can’t take the umpiring anymore either.

The flag might have helped those numbers a bit (tigers, anyone?)

I agree with the sentiment that the decision on Pert will have involved a process of his impressing the board with his vision for the club moving forward - how to improve revenues (aligned with club direction on no pokies), higher memberships, his experience on building a state of the art training base (with social facilities). Having a seasoned professional who's seen it all from the perspective of taking a club from 38,000 members to 75,000 will have more upside than downside. If, however, he re-introduces Whiteboard Wednesday, I'll spew and firebomb Glen Bartlett's car myself.
  6. I hope he responds in the third person.

If it was picket fence, then nothing to worry about
  8. Especially after extended sampling of the new sponsor’s premium whisky range
  9. I love the title of this thread @McQueen. Makes me laugh every time I come back to it. Comedy gold, I dip my hat to you sir
  10. Yeah - it’s downright embarrassing for the other teams to cop 15+ goal floggings
  11. There is a likeness...
  12. This was filmed so long ago we’re still promoting the old sponsors
  13. It would be just like Dom to play his hidden immunity idol and get a seat on the bench.
  14. When I think haute cuisine, Chunk is the very next thing that comes to mind
  15. I thought this had been bumped cos were playing the Saints and it was time to relive the Mac Weller weak as [censored] fend off!
  16. How about snail? Esss - spar - go?
  17. Massive congrats to Charlie. Give them hell.
  18. I like this stat this weekend our 1s and 2s kicked over 300 points
  19. To be fair to Beetle, I’ve got a mate working at AFL Media and he was quite certain that Hogan was going to be the story of last years’ trade period. that said, I’m glad it didn’t work out and he’s still with us and firing on all cylinders. this was an interesting article however https://www.theroar.com.au/2018/03/13/melbourne-trade-jesse-hogan-2018/
  20. Agree with all pleading patience. I think OMac, whilst still a work in progress, is a demonstration of our club investing in young KP player development and that rewards are forthcoming (perhaps slower than desired, but in line with our teams tilt for a flag). Weids has been more of a slow burn with injuries, but there's been a few games where he's shown that it's worth the continued investment in him.
  21. I say let him play wherever he bloody well wants.
  22. Hasn’t the wheel turned full circle - we used to hope for players to come, now we hope the ones we’ve got will stay. This is great news.
  23. Spot on in my case WJ. I couldn’t talk my boy (12) into it once he found out it was at the G. We’ve been to the last 4-5 at Luna Park so he was looking forward to the rides as well. Kids are a bit spoiled these days. I’d have given my left knacker at his age to have a chat, photo and autograph with the dees players.
  24. That’s what the website says dc
