  1. I don't think the plan includes any borrowing...
  2. It might be good to get someone onto the Board who has a significant fund-raising background. I assume it will be on the list of those Board Credentials soon to be published?
  3. ANB leaves a big hole (3rd in the B&F) - I hope Kade can step into that role. He has the work ethic to pull it off.
  4. Kade was 8th in the B&F - doing something right?
  5. Still a chance if the Bombers lose to Richmond and Carlton.....and we beat the Pies.
  6. Pick 83 - Tye Hourigan. Who doesn't love a smokey?
  7. It's in the name....
  8. Gender: Male. Location: Perth? 🙂
  9. Don't we have to wait for the external review of the footy department to be completed before any announcements can be made? I'm backing in Richie McCaw.
  10. We got Brisbane's future 3rd rounder, traded our future first to Essendon and future third to Adelaide
  11. So do we know what number it is? Maybe the boy from Traralgon - Tye Hourigan - oops, ssshhh.
  12. Did others hear Tim Lamb say in today's presser that we also had a late pick in this year's draft? It was difficult to hear the question that drew that response. The AFL website shows us with only 5 and 9. If so, and we want Yze, the late pick could be used on him or another Jason Taylor late draft gem?
  13. Yes - the building element is outside the track - just a small pavillion inside the track, near the two ovals.
  14. By making that donation F&T you get to vote in the MFC Board elections. Ain't that worth something?
  15. Close - it was 19 December last year. 2022 - 20 February 2023 2021 - 2 March 2022 2020 - 15 February 2021 2019 - 17 February 2020
  16. I was at the B&F and I do not recall any standing ovations for either Pert or Roffey. Kate was treated respectfully and Pert's introduction came with what I would call a murmur...
  17. Sounds like an unwavering faith in the "great and the good" to work out what has been wrong with the "great and the good", make some changes, and we will be "great and good" again at some time. Mmmmm.
  18. So keep the members in the dark?
  19. Didn't he say Clayton will be in the mid-field with Max, Jack and Trac at the first bounce Round 1 - we might be playing Geelong? BTW, I take it from the Pres's speech we are not playing Round Zero next year?
  20. Great team effort, and great coaching - we can now sneak into the finals at a time when the cavalry returns - Pearce, Purcell, Mackin, et al....Go Dees!
  21. Well better to ask the question in early October, than wait until you get the whitewashed report later in the month.....well done Ricky! Remember, in September there was no external review happening at all (recall Kate's answer to the question in the famous interview?) - it suddenly got turned into an external one by enlisting Darren Shand and an unnamed external, independent expert to review the Board. Nice way to put the badge on it. Fantastic!
  22. Don't worry Ricky, Drysdale Demon is into all sorts of weird conspiracy theories. You can say you are Ricky Dunn, confirm you wrote the letter, do a DNA test and send him photos and he will still believe you were on the grassy knoll. Suggest you do what most of us do on this forum and just skip over his posts.
  23. Because he would have got this response: "Thanks for your email. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you for your passion and loyalty to the red and blue. The Board and I often receive feedback, ideas, and communication from a wide variety of supporter groups, and value the thoughts and opinions of all our members. We engage with these groups, including Deemocracy, often and will continue to do so to ensure our membership base feels heard and valued. External experts have been engaged as part of both the Board and Football Department reviews. As previously communicated, the ambition of both review processes is to strive for excellence and to ensure, that as our game demands, we evolve to achieve sustained success. The reviews of both the AFL program and the Board will be completed in October and the priorities identified will be communicated to members. Thanks for your continued support of the club and I look forward to seeing you at the footy. Thanks Brad"
