  1. awkward face in that interview... can't say he looks stoked to be a dee. really hope that they've done the right thing here!
  2. i wonder if that means that the hawks have locked in that we are taking Pickett. and if we did trade 10 and 28 for a few picks in the teens that they'd take Pickett over Taylor..?
  3. so basically 9am
  4. take him at 2 in the rookie draft like snoop doggy dog suggested in his phantom long beach draft forecast..
  5. if that could get us trent bianco, jeremy sharp that would be worthwhile..
  6. oh jesse..... mate. just come back to the dees and play the link role. i''ll even go surfing with ya and you can have my old skateboard. carn
  7. I just can't see the club going for Jackson. I predict they'll bid for Tom Green, GWS will match and then we will go for Young. 10 - Pickett 28 - A medium-sized mid, with speed, like Hugh Ralphsmith If they do the above, I will be happy. I don't believe Jason Taylor would've been honest and upfront with the Road to the Draft guys and really doubt our interest in Jackson..
  8. his awareness and thinking ahead of where the ball is gonna drop is really good in this footage.. we can surely work on his natural gifts to get him more involved in games. pickett def seems to have traits that weightman/serong can only dream of.
  9. ok. all aboard. i'm keen. but please don't waste 3 on jackson! anyone else, its just DUMB. happy to take picket at 10, but prefer it if we could possible get another pick under 20 as well.. hopefully there's secret deals going on behind the scenes and the recruitment staff are smarter than they have been the past few years. don't waste assets/picks.
  10. definitely powerful but also maybe ‘stodgy’?
  11. he sorta runs like my dad. not exactly a smooth mover..:-/ rather speed or dare (see stephens, etc)
  12. Stafford is clearly gonna sort him out..Lol
  13. good. [censored].
  14. back. hard at it and adds a bit of x factor which we need there now frost is gone.. also, i admire how he flies for his marks and doesn't care who's behind him. its definitely a make or break year for him either way.
  15. strange player.. not too much said about him really. considering he's been thought to go top ten all year, not many talk him up.
  16. and who might the next 'brodie grundy' be? look, i don't think there is a small forward worth taking really.. at least in the first round. so, we would be better off going young at 3 and dylan stephens at 8 (if avail.). not jackson.
  17. if there was a jack higgins type, i'd take him for pick 8.. a kid with passion, speed and dare would be awesome
  18. manic. love it. we might still end up with him just cos we need a small forward in his mould so desperately (whether thats with 8, or 8 split into a few other picks)
  19. a bit like that man-child, kieran collins, that the dogs drafted in 2014/5? i think they delisted him this year.. he looked like an adult against kids in his highlights packages.. but just couldn't cut it in the afl.
  20. i like young at 3, and kemp, stephens or weightman at 8. although young seems a bit vanilla, he’s class. hard to ignore. kemp and stephens highlights look salivating. for some reason i feel like weightman would be a good fit.. driven, aggressive and quick between the ears.
  21. needs more bastard in him. just not a scrapper. like, for instance, jetta is.....and dare i say it, frost.
  22. i'd just like to remind everyone that although we have traded away our picks for next year... we will also be most probably trading out players that no longer fit into our structure moving forward (whether that be a petracca, brayshaw, hunt, salem, etc..). we will find picks next year, don't worry.
