Our draft motive will be to grab two players that can come in and impact straight away. I honestly don't think we'll go a tall with our first two picks. I think we'll go mids first and foremost. One thing to consider with the draft is the uncertainty of both Oliver and Trac next year. Pick 5 should be in someone like Harvey Langford. 190cm big bodied midfielder who can have some serious impact up forward also. His game against Gippsland Power where he had 33 disposals and kicked 4 goals was evident that he can be just as dangerous up forward. I reckon Smillie will be under heavy consideration for pick 9 also if he doesn't get taken by the Tigers at pick 6.

Go for two mids. Get a tall later in the draft if need.

Personally don't think he gets picked up. To be honest, I would like to think we don't get sucked in by the Yze name because talent wise, he's either a late rookie or he goes undrafted. He didn't get any invite to the national or state combines which speaks volume as you at least need one AFL club to register an interest which he didn't. He was tried in a few positions this year with little success in any.

Good to see the likes of Jacob Van Rooyen, Jake Bowey, Bailey Laurie and Blake Howes in the USA doing some intensive training over there in the off season. I see Jake Lever being the leader that he is has joined the group which is a exactly what you want from your leaders showing the way. Would be good to seeing JVR, Bowey and Howes take the next step next year with Laurie at least finally showing his worth.
