  1. Yeah look I did think of him but it was so short lived... Farmer gave me so much delight during those early Daniher years. I remember I was in tear when I found put he was officially off to Freo.
  2. It was Cal Twomey who christened him with the cringe nickname through his junior career. All fun and games until the added external pressure comes which already has through the media. There are only two wizards that exist, my childhood hero in Jeffrey ' The Wizard' Farmer and my guardian angel in Warrick 'The Wiz' Capper.
  3. Played round one the weekend against Eastern Rangers and only registered had 6 disposals for the whole game.
  4. See ive been a big fan of this proposal for a long time and don't understand why clubs don't often do this. Since the VFL got rid of thee development league, I really feel that this has stunted the development and growth of so many players over the journey especially the raw taller players that need the time and effort. KFW for instance would be a starting ruckman in the development league and would play much more bigger minutes then what he is doing now.
  5. Yes upon reflection I was harsh and didn't mean it to come across that way but this isn't off the back of yesterday's performance. His last 3 games at VFL level last year he didn't even register a stat at all. So let's not pretend it was yesterday's performance that was justified why people are writing him off already. It's harsh but it's also the reality. I've been quiet vocal previously around the way this category B selection is designed. It seems our recruiters got completely sucked in by athletic ability off the back of zero footballing ability. We've got genuine footballers out in the bush and suburban level who are busting their [censored] just to get on a list and yet we can just hand a list spot to a guy that his only strentgh os being really really tall. I can think of Mark Blicvas and Mason Coz as successful storied to come out of this. That's it. Nothing against KFW because I'm sure he's a lovely kid, but reality is, he's not even Essendon District Footy league standard level.
  6. Howes was named as an early emergency in 2022 before his injury. Jason Taylor I believe has been on record stating that had he not been injured that year he would have played senior footy.
  7. Yeah look I was being half sarcastic especially as he is category B. You'd think with the potential to step up as a potential back up for Gawn he'd show a bit more grit and determination but I've genuinely never seen a player completely out of his depth at any football level.
  8. Just reported May has 3 broken ribs plus a cracked vertebrae. They suspect he'll miss both Adelaide games plus more.
  9. I'd be stoked if we can delist Kye Farris White before the mid season draft if it means it frees up a spot for an actual footballer from the bush or suburban who knows how to actually play as a ruckman. Genuinely one of the worst AFL listed players I've seen since Brendan Van Schaik. What a waste of a list spot.
  10. He's worth keeping an eye out for mid season draft. He's got a very strong contested mark game and could be seen as a Petty replacement if he ends up going at the end of the year. When he plays down back his intercept marking is a big feature.
  11. Caleb Lewis is a 196cm prospect from VFL Footscray VFL who formerly was with the Sandringham Dragons.
  12. How worse do you think it could get? After May and Lever went down they only kicked 1 more goal for the match. Herculean effort from our defence without both May and Lever.
  13. EAD Collingwood!
  14. A reminder that was the first time our 2021 draft class have all played together in the one game. Jason Taylor just doing his thing once again.
  15. When you're in the midfield you still need to do something. 6 disposals for 0 tackles going at 66% in a half of footy is sub par performance off the back of another poor performance last week. Ridiculously overrated by Melbourne supporters on here.

  19. Thanks for the update Byron @picket fence The thought of the number 45 dashing off half back brings me great joy and reminiscent to the great Matthew Whelan who was our dashing half back back in the 2000's.
  20. Well said 👏 and great input once again @Dee Boys
