  1. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/wa-gun-left-out-of-championships-opener-for-disciplinary-reasons-20180601-p4zizt.html If he cant do the basics at junior level then forget him trying to do the real hard stuff at AFL level. Especially in Melbourne away from his family in Perth. We are in a critical stage right now of trying to win a premiership. Goodwin and Mahoney will only want players that are absolutely driven to help this club succeed on and off field. The days of the Jack Watts coasting at training are over. He won't fit into our system.
  2. Sam Day is no where near A grade type at all. Even when he has ma aged to get on the park, he's shown nothing to suggest he was worth z top 2 pick. Average player.
  3. Steer well away from Sydney Stack.

Great fixture for us. The only negative is playing West Coast at Optus... Again! We haven't played them at the G since 2014.

Just been delisted by the suns. If you're wanting inside midfield depth then i would personally give Lyons a crack. Rate him better then Sheridan or Weller as he actually had some good numbers this year until surprisingly dropped.
  6. Loved Col right from day dot the moment he walked through the door because he was a true blue country kid like myself who loved a beer, women, the punt, and footy on a weekends. Didn't take life seriously at all and just lived and had fun at the same time. On football ability he was by far the most gifted and prodigious talent i have ever seen don the red and blue, even to this day. I went to that Hawthorn game back in 2009 where he had 37 disposals and kicked 4 goals and thought that genuine star inside of him was ready to explode. He just had it all.. speed, power, strength, a booming kick (kicked a huge goal against carlton on his left foot outside of 50 one day mind you..) ariel ability and a body of a greek god who i was very envious of because how ridiculously chiselled he was! Unfortunately we never saw that potential talent that he teased us with, but boy the days he was on he could seriously light up the MCG and bring joys and smiles to Melbourne supporters during dark times. To Cols family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.. i hope one day you find peace knowing Col lived life to the fullest and that cheeky smile touched many heart who came close to him. Thank you for making us smile during those 157 game career. Rip mate.

As I've discussed before. He'll be a rookie list option at best. Definitely a good dominant VFL ruckman thats for sure.

    You mean Cam Sutcliffe..

No, he is a scrubber. Might aswell just re-draft Tom Bugg. Don't understand the need to pick up spuds from other clubs unless they fill a need on our list. And please dont say hes a premiership player.. he's the same boat as Mitch Morton, Steven Armstrong, Jonathon Simpkin as absolute duds who were carried throughout that finals period.
  10. I doubt he'll last that long, but the times I've seen Xavier O' Halloran play, he has looked a class above. Reminds me a lot of Shaun Higgins.

Wow! Andrew Gaff ring a bell to you? I'll save that embarrassment from your good self for another time..

Sorry but some AFL coaches will disagree with this.
  13. Townsend is just another Tom Bugg.. will spend most of his days at Casey. If anything we need a mature age ruckman to just have on our list or another depth midfielder. Other then that i dont see the need for other clubs rejected spuds. Go to the draft and back Taylor to get us another Bayley Fritsch or Charlie Spargo.

    No. His dispoal is horrific.

Keep an eye out for this name. Midfielder from South Croydon who has a few interviews with Jason Taylor and his team. I've never seen him play personally, but I know that he's in our sights. Played with Matt Jones and Max King the past 2 years there.
  16. Suppose he looks alright..
  17. I expect Tom McDonald, Jetta and Lever to be under serious consideration. I think they'll give May a year to just settle and not give him any leadership titles. Play your role and lead by your own standard.
  18. Yep, realised that as soon as I posted it.. Does anyone have any highlights on him? Checked YouTube but nothing on there.
  19. Based on what? First I've heard of this..
  20. Oh dear god please tell me you're not talking about Jed Lamb the absolute rubbish footballer from carlton? Scrawny faux tough guy syndrome is little Lamby.. Dont understand the need to not only discuss what spuds to pick up but also from clubs who are rabble like Carlton and St Kilda. If these players struggle to get games at bottom side clubs then they have no hope getting games at ours. List bloggers at best. We're past that stage of picking up Ben Newtons, Aidan Rileys of the world.
  21. A brief summary of the kind of character we're bringing into the club.
  22. @Grand New Flag
  23. Name and shame. I'm too lazy too go back.
  24. He is a scam and a [censored]. I'll never forget when the peanut scammed everyone into his "riddle" tripe..
