Could easily be waiting on Carlton coach?
  2. I've watched the Geelong prelim replay a few times just to kill time. Jack Viney getting absolutely stuck into Joel Selwood and Jack Henry is right up there as one of my favourite highlights of this finals series.
  3. Just a fantastic achievement. Well done Goody and thank you for bringing us so much joy to us in what's been an extremely dark year for all.
  4. Agree wholeheartedly with Jonesy

Adam Cerra (Fremantle) ā€œRichmond is as far out of the race as any other team. You canā€™t say 100 per cent because there can always be a late change.ā€ ā€œBut my understanding with Cerra is that Carlton is still the club and thatā€™s because Melbourne canā€™t get (the trade) done. ā€œI canā€™t imagine a situation where Robbie Dā€™Orazio and Paul Connors, his manager, allow him to nominate a club that he canā€™t get to. He will nominate a club that he can get to and at the moment that is Carlton, even though Melbourne has had a serious crack. Thereā€™s no draft pick they can offer and thereā€™s not going to be any players theyā€™re going to give up either.ā€
  6. One thing I took out of that interview was Nick Reiwoldt is still [censored] off at St Kilda for giving him the flick.
  7. And confidently too..
  8. Great article on Jake Bowey. https://www.aflplayers.com.au/news-feed/stories/young-demon-can-take-a-bowey-after-late-season-surge
  9. Watched it as well. Was brilliant content. You'd pay money to go hear them both talk about how success and culture is built. While I'm watching both Dimma and Clarko talk, my mind is drifting away that one day that could be Goodwin doing the exact same thing in a few years time.
  10. As the title says. Will be on the couch tonight for anyone that wants to tune in.
  11. Tim English would have to be one of the softest ruckman I've seen in the AFL for a long time. Hasn't got it in him to rough up opponents.
  12. Hoping Salem is just a light day due to managing his groins this year..

Jason Taylor mentioned on Cal Twomeys podcast few weeks back that they may look to add a young developing ruckman in the draft.
  14. This aged well.
  15. Really fascinating interview with Peter Jackson around his journey with the Melbourne Football Club. Talks about the period around Mark Neeld era and also the Paul Roos recruitment. Also talks about flying to Sydney to catch up with James McDonald and mend that relationship with him and inviting him back to the club. Said it was an emotional meeting with junior and pointed to having a lot of scarring that need to be repaired. Well worth a listen. https://player.whooshkaa.com/episode?id=905242
  16. The Sean Wight one was really sad to read for me.
  17. A fantastic but moving article by the talented Megan Hustwaite in the Age who interviewed family of past demon players who have recent passed. https://amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/families-of-demons-who-died-too-young-say-their-hearts-still-beat-true-20210915-p58ry0.html?btis=&__twitter_impression=true
  18. When I lived in Melbourne in 2018 I remember those couple of weeks in the finals was an absolute buzz being a Melbourne supporters. People were so proud wear the red and blue jumpers, beanies etc. It was such an unreal feeling that I personally had never felt before being in Melbourne at the time. Though we missed out in the grand final, I do remember it being such amazing experience just being able to soak it all up especially with Collingwood being in the grand final. The city was buzzing and here I was thinking that I'm living in the best sporting capital of the world. Remember thinking to myself at the time how good would this be if Melbourne got into a grand final and being able to just live in that moment leading up to it. Fast forward 3 years and unfortunately a lot of us aren't going to experience this and it certainly crosses your mind whether it'll happen again in the next few years. But, I am just bloody stoked we are in a grand final! Whilst it's incredibly disappointing I won't be there to watch it, I am stoked for the people of Perth who are probably experiencing a once in a life time chance and opportunity in their home state. I think Perth will put in a spectacular performance for the grand final and actually can't wait to see how it all unfolds. If there is one wish I have for the red and blue supporters in Perth and that's just cheer extra loud for is people who are missing out.
  19. It'll be interesting to see where draft experts place Woewodin. In the past few months his consistent performance at WAFL Colts plus his game against SA would have pushed him a little further up the draft. I think getting an invite to the AFL national combine after initially missing out shows clubs are now starting to take notice.
  20. Also got named 4th best as well in yesterday's performance.
  21. Why am I not surprised one bit...
  22. Still remember seeing a photo of him in a Richmond scarf at the 2017 grand final.. Hopefully it stays that way.
  23. House mates too..
