It's certainly worth pondering. History has shown that some deals via verbal agreement have occurred 12 months prior to being out of contract. Could that be the case here? Who knows, but it certainly would not surprise me if there is some strong negotiations going on between player management and Tim Lamb. There was some talk a Melbourne based club had strong interest in Liam Henry but was contracted, so the move was highly unlikely. Makes sense if it was us. Also worth noting that I do know we had strong interest in Henry in his draft year alongside Serong, Weightman, Kemp and Miles Bergman. Henry was obviously an interest due to him having shown his outside ability but also play as a small forward.
