I didn get a chance to watch the game yesterday but will try and sit down to watch replay later this week. In the Coates league game I have seen him play he reminds me so much of Josh Daicos with his ability to do his work on the inside but also spread hard to run and receive on the outside. Hoping that was on show yesterday.

I too will question our ability this year if we can't knock off Collingwood without Elliot, DeGoey, McStay, Sidebottom and a quarter of their players being unwell. Yes we have Oliver out but they're ripe for the picking today. Time to make a statement today.

Think this needs to be a serious consideration over the summer similar to the transition the club did with Trent Rivers in doing more midfield training and working on his fitness/core as a plan for Bowy.

You literally brought in the " We shouldn't debut him as a sub because he's the son of a club champion".. lol If he was the sub the coaches would be doing a great job reminding him that the sub role isn't purely for one quarter bit to expect to come on at any time. Expect the unexpected, especially when injuries could easily come in the first quarter. It really isn't he worst option for a debut.

Realistically he's the same height as Lachie Neale but probably same build as Zak Butters. I definitely think it can work.

Romanticism should never come into play. Too many of you folks get up in all of that and all the does is add unnecessary pressure on the kid. Jordon simply shouldn't be a sub and it's obvious the Dees coaching ranks have thought real hard between JJ and Woey. So if that was the two options then Woey should be the preferred sub option for me.

Really hope James Jordon isn't the sub. In all games that he's started off as a sub he's made zero impact coming on. And that's purely because he not a impact at all. He's a role player who's also limited at times Woewodin at least comes in and provides some fresh energy and zip into the team.

Yeah weird flex. Collingwood are set on all lines of the ground and play a brand that fans know what to expect. Their ball movement is so much more superior to ours. We had forward issues right from the very start and it never got rectified. In saying that, I think well beat the pies.

McKay is actually listed at 204cm. It's a significant difference and that's where I thought Tomlinson battled well even though he was beaten. I'd play him on Brody Mihocek.
