Give due where it’s due . Bris absolutely deserved the win. No ruckman caused problems for the Pies ..when you have to use McStay..Johnson or Frampton in the ruck then it leaves them vulnerable in those areas. They’re a good team the Pies but they are vulnerable like most teams when key players are missing..

Considering BB’s knee issues..I’d absolutely hate to see him taking 2nd ruck ..same for TMac with his foot issues. JVR is young & healthy..has played ruck at VFL level and is a far better option

I would not rubbish Jackson ..he is a Premiership player & should rightly hold a specific place in our red & blue hearts. But he quite simply went for the $ & with that comes extremely high expectations. Don’t forget he served his apprenticeship under arguably one of the best modern day ruckman & also one of the most selfless. At his feet were one of the most talented modern day midfields. Will he reach his potential now ..who knows..would I boo him ..never.. do I want him to do well ..no !

What a quandary for all our “glass half full” D’land supporters. We thrashed Bulldogs & we’re on our way to a premiership. We lose to Bris & get thrashed but after extraordinary circumstances we come out & reduce the margin to 11 points but that’s because Bris just “ didn’t try “ & then the sentiment was that maybe our win against the Bulldogs wasn’t that good because they lost to St Kilda. Right now Bulldogs are beating Bris… look forward to how they spin this. Always good to remember that it’s probably worthwhile waiting till we’re 6 games or so in before we feed our MFCSS 😏

So disagree with the “no real motivation “ comment. If the popular opinion is true & they are GF aspirants…% is a massive factor in any season. They dropped around 15% in that 11mins & with their % sitting around 79% they had everything to play for. How interesting you dismiss our preseason form ..our WB win & also our last 11 mins of the Lions game . Let’s wait till we’re a few games in before such massive negativity…

It’s not just that part of his game we’ll miss. It’s his defensive marking behind the ball & his work forward of the ball. All our players will have to work a little harder
