My 3 word player analysis V Fremantle
Gawn - heart of lion Petty - tried but overwhelmed K Pickett - couldn’t get involved Tholstrup - maintained attention span Windsor - out of depth Steele - continued working hard Jiath - loose and inefficient Fritsch - generally worked hard vanRooyen - back to reality Mihocek - an old magpie Turner - will be missed Chandler - needed more involvement Sparrow - another irrelevant game L Pickett - Bambi in headlights Salem - prolific but wasteful Howes - uncertain of role Sharp - some irrelevant cameos Rivers - poor under pressure Langford - another poor game Lindsay - not a defender Culley - Casey standard today Lever - stood up well Langdon - kept on running

Not disastrous, and add a few other f Jefferson, Kentfield, Johnson, McDonald, and suddenly you have more competitive talks, which is where we were lacking today

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
Trealor is obviously the danger man and he’s dominating the centre clearances but Heath is holding his own around the ground

Beg to differ. I think he’s one of the best performers of the preseason- PRESEASON TRAINING: Tuesday 10th March 2026
As long as the songs aren’t played for close to their full term as Brisbane did on the weekend, when a post Cameron goal rendition was still playing just as the Bulldogs goaled at the other end🤦♂️- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Not bad but if they actually line up like this I’d say it’s probably the slowest back line EVER selected- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Not sure that ‘timing an announcement with the election’ is going to win votes from non Dees’ supporters- Sacrilege-is Max hurting our future development?
Btw with Marshall not playing this week for the Saints, there seems no reason to introduce Heath to partner Max- Steven King meet & greet
Admittedly Lyon initially alluded to these two, and seemingly the interview was done before our recent practice matches- Steven King meet & greet
Having just seen the one on one between King and Gary Lyon on Foxtel, I understand why he landed the job. He’s eloquent, grounded, compassionate, and obviously a natural leader of men. I think we’ve landed a beauty, and for the record, he is a big fan of Jefferson and Tholstrup - The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
