  1. it was clever crumbing
  2. I consider every game we play winnable. I would list every one of those games a chance
  3. Got a bad feeling about this game. Collingwood were insipid against Port and will be looking to bounce back
  4. He can [censored] off if he's demanding 700k
  5. He'll bounce back. He loves playing the Pies too
  6. Kent may have not been tacklingm but he was still kicking goals, what small forwards are meant for. BenKen wasn't kicking goals. Hence why he was dropped over Kent. Kent had 13 disposals and 2.0. I think he set a few up too. Harmes had 10 touches and 0.1. I love Harmsey and he'll be a good player but he goes before Kent in this instance.
  7. People seem to really forget how bad our list was when Roos walked in at the end of 13'. Non AFL standard players were finishing top 4 in our BnF. The Blues had some talent last year atleast but were poorly coached. The Dogs always had great talent but needed a better gameplan to take the next step. We are where we should be.
  8. OUT : O.Mac, Kent, Kennedy, Garland, Newton IN: Dawes, Frost, Dunn, Trengove, Oliver If Viney is banned then either Kennedy stays in or Grimes replaces him Frost to Ceglar, Dunn to O'Brian, T.Mac to Gunston, Jetta to Rioli, Hunt to Puopolo, Wagner to Breust Will probably end up being - IN: Grimes OUT: Newton
  9. Hogan - set shot liability
  10. Mentioned in the Match Preview thread that they had a few players under an injury cloud pre-match. They were Darcy Byrne-Jones, Hamish Hartlett and Jackson Trengove. Port posted this pic on facebook. No Jackson Trengove but Sam Gray (emergency) is in the photo. Assume this is the 22 they're going with. MASSIVE bonus for us if Trengove is out

  12. Herald Sun reporting that trio Jackson Trengove (ankle), Hamish Hartlett (corked thigh) and Darcy Byrne-Jones (ankle) all in doubt. Sam Gray and Brendon Ah Chee are two emergencies flying up as cover.
  13. Geelong, Hawthorn, Sydney, North, st Kildd In that order
  14. Still think Dawes will be a late in for Newton or ANB
  15. And Frosty will be in soon once he learns the diamond defence playing as a full back and plays a few good, consistent games in the 2s
  16. I still don't think a lot of us get it. (Admittedly I could too be wrong) our diamond defence means that our defenders guard space, not players. It assures that opposition forwards are not getting 1 on 1s and getting space to lead into. Our set-up forces the opposition to bomb it in long, and its pretty hard to mark a high ball with 6 other blokes jumping at it. I know we are very shallow defensively, but it's really not as bad as we make it out to be
  17. Dawes in for a late change? We could really exploit Port's lack of height on defence. Roosy said we are taking 24 players to NT
  18. those who were at the game, any chance Frost comes in this week?
  19. I wouldn't want him to play unless he is 100% I can tell if he is less than 100%, he will have minimal game time and no impact Give him a week off and get him ready for Hawks/QB
  20. I would love to see Frosty come in and play in defence
  21. I'm getting the same gut feel but doesn't make sense that we would play 2 rucks when Port don't actually have 1 genuine ruck
