Fair points and yes my attitude with my response could have been made without being rude, so I take your point. I’ve actually done a lisfranc injury myself and there are certainly different degrees of it. I think all involved at the Dees wound have the players health as their number 1 priority and would take calculated risks on a players injury just as they did with May last year. I think the premise of holding players back for the following year is a fraught with danger as their are no guarantees of success. Anyway we see different sides which what makes the world go round. Always easier in hindsight. If we rested players then do we actually win the games we played in and then do we actually make top 4. It’s always easier to say if we did something different then the result may have been different but it’s so subjective. Mate the VFL is so far inferior to the AFL. If you changed the 11 injured players for VFL players we would have been beaten by 10 goals.
