Are you there Harry? Vale Harry Beitzel
Kevin Skeeter Coghlan was an ex Collingwood and Hawk who also appeared on World of Sport footy panel for a few years.

Are you there Harry? Vale Harry Beitzel
It was a shocker worse than any Moreton Bay Bug you have ever seen. And one did wonder about the origins of the hair or its host body part. Harry was a character and a product of his time. When you think about the big H and the media coverage of the day it was such a completely different era. Unrecognisable compared to today.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Not much credibility left other than with EFC supporters. A little like Lance it's not just what he did but the way he conducted himself post the scandal. Anyway like James he is escaping to a place where he can blend in with the crowd.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
I think we have seen enough of the footy club over the last 2 seasons to have FAITH in what they are doing and avoid hasty and premature judgment. We should celebrate Oscars game and acknowledge that we may have been hasty to judge a young kid in his second year. When Ron Barassi started his career he was regarded as a dud by many because he could not play in a key position, wing or flank. He was incapable of minding his opponent and became unpopular with his team mates by crashing into them because of his desperation to get the ball. He was dropped by selectors and only established himself in the team when Norm Smith invented a new role just for Barass. The role of Ruck Rover. This both saved his career and established the legend that was Barassi the player.

Jeff 'Wiz' Farmer
Agree but the Wiz had his "off days". When he was on he was without peer, but when he was off, he was really off, particularly when he was heavily marked or targeted by a tagger. I always thought that Garry Lyon was a critical factor. When on the field at FF, Gary kept the Wiz focused and settled but also acted as a protector against aggressive defenders. Lyon was constantly in the face of any opponent that targeted the Wiz. Off the field, he was a lovely bloke who was happy to sign autographs for the kids. Like Jurrah, he was the reason to go to the game. An excitement machine.

Zak Jones
Great attack on the ball, tough as nails, great tackler but decision making and disposal skills ?

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Off the field Toby is a liability but on the field he is a dynamo. Slot into any side and be a huge asset because of his contested possessions and footy smarts. And he is as tough as nails.
