I don't think Freo would be swapping their batch. That's a very balanced top 3 that they selected.

It is a valid discussion. However, we have all seen our draft rankings and Robertson was the 5th player on our list so if we were going for best available rather than needs, that is who we would have ended up with. Serong wasn't able to get involved as a small forward so that part is just garbage. Our list management and strategy has been poor and this is a fair question to be asking.

I'm very interested by the fact he wouldn't kick on his right foot tonight and his right leg was heavily bandaged. Clearly should not have been playing and very disappointing from everyone involved in allowing him to do so.

Disagree re Hogan. He took some marks high up the ground but was a non factor. Richmond were showing him no respect putting Houli and Short on him at times and they would run off him with ease. Was also matched by Vlaustin for most of the time and lost several important contests.

Thought the same with the Fritsch comment, our half forwards couldn't have contributed much less. Vandanberg can't even change direction now, so can't isn't able to apply any pressure despite his intentions.

Has been doing good defensive jobs all year but really stepped up his offensive side tonight. Great knowing you have a player that will always hold their own in a one on one.

Both have been shocking. Jones' lack of pace causes him to retreat and turn defensively when he gets the ball and he should be going forward. We have to many average users to be playing this chip it around the backline style as when the time comes to pull the trigger very few are capable.

We have kicked accurately, that is the only positive from that half. We are getting smashed and I think once the game opens up we will get steam rolled.

We are getting killed mate, we are just kicking them from everywhere while they are missing easy goals. Our half forwards are killing us and never manage to lock the ball up.

Haven't read the article, but my recollection is that we also would taken Mcartin number one, I call BS on the Lever part. We were trying to get pick 12 to take him, but skeptical on using pick 3.
