    Yes a week or two in footy can change opinions hugely. Frost is still young and we have praised him most of the year untill loss in form. Personally I was afraid Brayshaw would never make it back as classy as he did and so soon. Watts has been a match winner many times and we can't seriously expect to gain anything short term from dealing him to help us in our window. He is reaching a mature peak. Pedo perfect example. Personally I would give 2 first rounders for Lever. Not a player. For starters Lever is one of the first rounders, and we will likely finish high next year so say pick 13+ we would be giving away. We are in the window now for many years to come and a young Lever can be a pillar for the next decade of that.

    Does make me wonder why we haven't been linked to a Dusty or a Kelly (A gun mid etc). If we really wanted them there is no reason we would be perhaps the most enticing choice. A Lever type won't come available every year, and looking at our key backs I think we are well short. Goodwin wants TMac forward. That leaves Oscar, Frost....Garland....??? We need a key back. Our young mids are still finding themselves and there roles and we'll surely be able to replace Vince, Lewis with free agents next year, year after etc. Also if we use our first rounder this year its most likely will be a mid/small type as hardly any bigs in top 20.

    I'm not going to hang myself on the line cos Tony Sheahan tweets a rumor. I can't say who and will remove myself from demonland if what I said turns to be untrue. That is all that really is to be said until we hear more.

    Just heard some good mail that in the past few days he has chosen us.

    I think he could fill the very valuable role Petracca/Melks type role on our forward flank nicely at the very least! Of course its all what we give and wants the come. As mentioned our recruiters rate him highly so would not be surprised if he ends up being our big get.

    I have faith our pitch to him would of been well done. Can only hope he does choose to come to us. As for what picks and or who I'm sure the club have pretty much already figured out the options and also have solid faith it will be worth it. If he doesn't come, at least it's a good sign players want to meet with us and are linked with us. Especially the most sought after. Lever would be the biggest coup the club has had in my time anyway.

    Besides Waldron was adamant the Pies have him. He has obviously gone out to be hero or zero, but my gut believes him.

    Watch Lever for 30 seconds and anyone can tell he is all class.

    I'd defiantly give up a first round pick a seconder rounder and a fringe player max. Lever is that bloody good though that he would give us certainty in the use of those picks and of course a ready made young gun back with 10 plus years to come. Yes please!

    I'd rather free up the list of spots. We don't need to be playing players that simply arn't going to be part of the main 22. I'd rather give a shot to a Hunt type. We all saw the benifits of giving the youngsters a go this season like Oscar, Hunt etc Nothing to be gained otherwise except cover for a few games.

    I'd take Fyfe for Hogan. About time we has a super-star mid. More immediate and consyant impact for next few years. Hogan will always have issues over his head even if he re-signs.

    It's great fun and hope to have this going yearly.

    The draft at this stage will take place at 11am Saturday 12th March but can be adjusted. Don't worry if unavailable for the draft just fill out you pre-draft order and you will be assigned players automatically.

    Certainly Oliver has now popped up as medias favourite for pick 3. Parish the slider and possibly can get him at pick 7 or best available.

    Bail- Just not skillfull enough Mckenzie- no skills Jamar- Time to move on from him M Jones- Need to play quality kids instead of him Cross- I'd like another year from him Terlich- Surely gone barrring contract issues Can't see Trengove traded. Surely stay on a low wage. He's a fighter and will be back.

    You would also have to think there is significant upside to Vandenberg with lack of AFL exposure etc. Everyone saying he is Barlow 2.0 may just be right.
