Showed promisng form has pace to burn and could be dangerous in tandem with Spargo and Pickett. 20# Tom Sparrow - Struggled of late needs to find consistantcy. 19# James Harmes - Been ok but needs to find a bit more of the ball. 18# Christian Salem - Been injured most of the year. Showed good signs against Sydney 17# Luke Jackson - Not putting his stamp on the game liek he should be time to step up. 16# Jake Bowey - Early in the year he was a rising star favorite struggled a little bit of late. 15# Harison Petty - Missed the whole pre season starting to play some good footy. 14# Alex Neal-Bullen - Not hitting the scoreboard but still playing his role. 13# Charlie Spargo - Similar to Neal-Bullen. 12# Tom McDonald - Strugled early but really started to hit his straps before he got injured. 11# Kysiah Pickett - Electrifying at his best the best defensive player in the comp. 10# Jake Lever - Not as good as last year. 9# James Jordon - Revelation on the wing this year. 8# Jack Viney - The heart and soul of the footy club still playing some great footy. 7# Ed Langdon - Best wingman in the comp. 6# Bailey Fritsch - Our only consistant forward. 5 Christian Petracca - Controversial most people would have him in the best 2 or 3 but I don't think he has had as good a year as he did last year. 4 Angus Brayshaw - Has been a revelation down back in All Australian form. 3 Steven May - Showed his importance with his absence. The rock of the back line. 2 Clayton Oliver - Never puts in a bad game. 1 Max Gawn - The best player in the league.

I can't believe how many people want Tomlinson in the side he is a spud. Turner is a better option.

Firstly I want to talk about the elephant in the room the umpires they were putrid. If that's the best they can come up with the umpires are in a crisis. Secondly Sydney didn't have a bad player on the ground while we had 4. Lever was dreadful worst game he's played at the club but at least he has some credits in the bank. Hunt has lost me like a dear in the headlights he was tonight. Sick of his mistakes shouldn't play a game for Melbourne again. Heard Hibberd played well in the 2's a ready made replacement. Tomlinson is a VFL player nothing more. Time to look at Turner as a key back replacement instead of Tomlinson. Ben.Brown's last month has been putrid. Must be dropped even if that's to give Weid his 100th chance. Liked Mitch.Brown's game should be persisted with. Hopefully McDonald's injury isn't that bad. On the positive side Max Gawn showed a master class tonight. Is there nothing he can't do?

He's the best player I've seen, definitely the best ruckman of all time. He's played plenty of good games but I think none better than tonight. He done everything to get us over the line tonight. Long live the great Max Gawn.

He played on Hogan and killed him. He can play down back just like McDonald. Why can't you get it through your thick skull?

It like saying McDonald can't play back because he's a forward. Brown has proven he can play back and when has Weideman actually been in form he's always out of form.

If they had him as a sub last week he would have played defence. He gives us flexibility unlike a Dunstan who can only play midfield. He has played defence at VFL level. A better option than Weid. He can play small similar to Fritsch.

Personally I'd love to see Dogga take over CHF swapping with Maxy in the forward line and in the ruck. BB's form over the past 2 weeks is too bad to ignore I think he should be dropped and we go smaller with Bedford. If they think Salem is raring to go then I'd drop Hunt and put Hunt as the sub. Mitch is in form he can play key or small, back or forward. I think he could be the perfect sub.

Hipwood should not have come back in the ones. 11 weeks is a long time out. A game in the 2's to get the rust out won't do him any harm.

Langdon, Harmes, McDonald come in. Tomlinson replaces May. Weideman and Melksham should never play a game again, that leaves one more out sorry Bedford it's back to the sub again. van Rooyen or Mitch.Brown should seriously be considered in replacing Ben.Brown.

I thought Brayshaw played well. Bedford and Oliver had a good first half and Gawn tried hard but it was slim pickings after that. Petracca played like he was sick. Brown should be dropped ( c'mon Roo boy have a blinder tomorrow) Weideman should never play a game again. Love Milkshake but he's cooked congrats on your 200 but never play a game for us again.

He's always with us he's Picket when we win and Olisik when we lose. Jackson will only be a run of the mill ruckman made to look good by Gawn make him a CHF and leave him there.

Not Carey but van Rooyen. Brown's had it and Weideman never had it. His combination with McDonald will go a long way to us winning the flag again. Lets face it we have a great backline a great midfield but an average forward line. van Rooyen is our only hope in rectifying it.
