Now that day 1 of the draft is done I'll do my best 23 and Casey's best 23 for round 1. B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Salem, Petty, Bowey C: Windsor, Rivers, Langdon HF: Petracca, Turner, Chandler F: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Melksham FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Lindsay, Sparrow, Langford, Tholstrup SUB: Sharp Casey B: Hore, Adams, D.Smith HB: Howes, McDonald, Moniz-Wakefield C: Billings, Laurie, Brown HF: Spargo, Fullerton, Sestan F: McAdam, Jefferson, Kentfield FOLL: Campbell, Woewodin, Baldi IC: Mentha, pick 79, Rookie a, Verrall, Casey youngster SUS: Pickett I went for the 3 key backman\forwards 3 small backman\forwards which is why McDonald and Jefferson aren't in the team. 4 talls would be too tall. With the interchange I've used Lindsay as our 7 defender, Sparrow and Langford as the 2 extra mids and Tholstrup as the 7th forward.

I'm sorry Lindsay I didn't mean to say you were worse than those spuds. I honestly believe he will be the best player in the draft just because we got him with Essendon's pick.

Doultree and Sruk are exactly the players we should be after players with VFL experience. Baldi could be ok as he also has VFL experience but he was pretty ordinary at Casey hopefully he has come back a better player.

Out of the 4 we are apparently got our sights on I'd go Langford, Tauru, Allen, Lindsay in that order. I thought we needed mids and a key forward not a flanker like Lindsay.

If we pick up Lindsay it will be like picking Toumpas, Scully, Trengove, Morton and Weideman all in the one go.
