B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Bowey, Petty, Rivers C: Hunter, Brayshaw, Langdon HF: Petracca, McDonald, Neal-Bullen F: Fritsch, Brown, Spargo FOLL: Grundy, Oliver, Viney IC: Hibberd, Laurie, Sparrow, Chandler SUB: Jordon I think it will be wise to play an extra midfielder against the Swans considering our midfield woes last week. McDonald and van Rooyen aren't ruckmen so they will lose the tap outs anyway. Reserves B: Adams, Tomlinson, D.Smith HB: K.Turner, D.Turner, Buntine C: Howes, Dunstan, Sheppard HF: Moniz-Wakefield, van Rooyen, Melksham F: Sestan, Jefferson, Grey FOLL: Bell, Harmes, Munro IC: Gregory, Valentine, Steele, Burgoyne, Cross

Hawthorn is certainly tanking. Sam Mitchell's excuse for getting rid of Tom Mitchell was McKenzie and Day wouldn't play - what a crock? They deliberately got rid of Mitchell to lose games they didn't even get anything for him as their best player. This is a form of cheating to build a team around 4 or 5 number 1 draft picks. They should at the very least get the sanctions that Bailey and Connolly got for apparently tanking.

They shouldn't have changed it after Ugle-Hagan went no 1. The happy medium would be 20 40 is ridiculous.
-
I think May comes in for Tommo Hibberd to come in for Harmes The Gawn replacement will be interesting do they go with an extra midifelder in Laurie and Jordon and keep faith with McDonald as the second ruck or do they bring in van Rooyen. I'm not sure they can play together maybe they can time will tell. Jordon or Laurie will take Melksham's spot.

He done an alright job on Cameron stick with him. Cameron's better than Papley. Papley is overrated and never should have been AA ahead of Fritsch.

McVee

I'm a bad rap for Disco think he has a bright future. Wonder if they will start Kynan off half back like his old man. I think that's where we have the least depth but as JD said we can play our top picks off half back.

Congrats Clarry hope you have a ripper and more importantly a win in your 150th.

I was hoping someone with their finger on the pulse regarding the draft would give us a few names on who we could pick up with our 4 picks. Someone like Deespencer maybe? Hopefully, we finish higher than 8th, and hopefully, Freo finish lower than 13th.
-
It was his first game you gotta give him a break. I personally think Laurie was a bit better than Jordon in the VFL and deserves a second chance.
-
Was terrible this week only got 3.
-
I think he will be at another club next year, unfortunately.
-
He better we definitely missed him against Brisbane he's one of our best players.

This is my prediction of next years team. B: Lever, May, Bowey HB: Salem, Petty, Rivers C: Hunter, Brayshaw, Langdon HF: Petracca, van Rooyen, Viney F: Fritsch, B.Brown, Jefferson FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Pickett IC: McVee, Sparrow, Grundy, Freo's first rounder SUB: Moniz-Wakefield I know I haven't got Neal-Bullen and Spargo in the team and they have been in the team forever but I can't hide my excitement for Jefferson and Moniz-Wakefield. The Dockers first pick looks like it will be a top 5 or 10. He should get a game. So what type of player should we go with that pick? We also have our first round pick, freo's second round pick, our second round pick and K.Brown from the fater son rule. Hibberd and Melksham will retire and I think Harmes and Jordon will look elsewhere for more opportunity. I think Tomlinson has another year on his contract firstly I thought he was a burden now I think he's handy backup. He could be looking elsewhere as well. Dunstan will be delisted. Reserves B: Adams, Tomlinson, D.Smith HB: K.Turner, D.Turner, Draft pick C: Howes, Laurie, Draft Pick HF: Neal-Bullen, McDonald, Spargo F: Chandler, Schache, Sestan FOLL: Verrall, K.Brown, Woewodin IC: Farris-White, J.Smith, Draft Pick, Draft pick.

Is there a replay to be found at the game?
-
I have to admit you are becoming a better poster I may have to take you off my ignore list. That's great news.

Welcome to Demonland Kyah Farris-White
WERRIDEE replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Did they drop Verrall too? or is he injured. -
I have a sneaky suspicion Laurie is in front of JJ. Hibberd for Harmes I think and Brayshaw in the middle.
-
Gulden to be best on ground. If I wasn't a Melbourne man I'd be tipping Sydney not confident at all without Gawn and Kossie. Need a big lift from and I think it will happen from Clarry disposal disgraceful last week, Trac couldn't get into the game and Viney was terrible. Petty needs to lift too I think he will with his mate May back in the side.
-
I fiited in Harmes and Melksham.

Just watched the game. Impressed with Laurie deserves another crack at it maybe as a sub. Moniz-Wakefield is exciting and Jefferson's marking was exciting. van Rooyen has to debut this week great game by him.
-
Has to be van Rooyen!
-
Too many changes. Brayshaw won't be dropped that's crazy talk.
-
Ok I haven't watched it yet just saw that he had 0 hitouts. Play him if he's not concussed.
