There is a role for Bugg
Well the players who many of you have mentioned are not those I had in mind. I like Hannan and what he offers for the future, but with the opponents we have for the rest of the year, I would very much like Bugg standing alongside some seriously good midfielders. I disagree about his pace and my recollection is that his kicking is only poor when he is shooting for goal. Particularly with the hardness of Viney lost for at least a month, I think Bugg could play a real role, whereas we have a bunch of forwards making Hannan's role more questionable

There is a role for Bugg
I expect to get bucketed for this but here goes! Today's papers report that WC successfully reduced the influence of Sidebottom and Pendlebury by playing taggers on them. In the game we played v Dogs, Harmes tagged McCrae with some success after half time. The best tagging job by a MFC player that I can recall, was by Bugg on Pendlebury a couple of tears ago. For some unknown reason Bugg hadn't been used in this capacity thereafter.. i regard Bugg as a capable player. Ge can get the ball and us tough. Kicking for goal is a problem but in my view he would offer more than a couple of Saturday's team if he were to play an old fashioned tagging role. And this week v Cats would be a great place to start

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
So we overlook the 8 precision kicks , some of 50m to players able to run away into attack. Week after week. Hibberd can do it, Salem when on the backline, who else can hit targets like Lewis can?

Bloody silly observation. He did it once in Darwin. He also hit 8 targets with precision passes at 50m

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Rubbish! Played well except for one undisciplined act

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
I'm inclined to agree with this. We lacked genuine forwards v Port. If Vince gets it a bit he will kick some goals. So , incidentally, will Garlett who offers much more pace

Changes v St Kilda
Agree the backline is undersized. Must play Frost who brings so much to the table , we MUST have someone to play on a second big forward. And despite Garlett's ordinary form in the twos, I would play him. He is a genuine forward, not convinced that Spargo is--he's better around the ground.

Shaun Smith: Joel can fill Lever's Role
Well we didn't have options. OMac off the ground, Pederson required in the ruck for quite some time

Absolutely correct. Can't understand this post. Amongst our group we rated him our third best player after TMac and Oliver. Sure, a clanger at the end but look at the many pinpoint kicks to a running player

Casey Demons v Collingwood VFL - Round 10
Surely the absence of both Stretch and Garlett means that one of them, presumably Jeffy, is playing on Monday instead of Hannan?

Training - Wednesday 6th June, 2018
I would play him on Monday

Jake Lever injury - Confirmed ACL
For some unknown reason, he's been a disaster as a defender. Seems odd but it's happened several times

Jake Lever injury - Confirmed ACL
Rubbish. Bloody good player

Changes v Collingwood
I suggest you see your doctor. Frost is a damned good player.would walk into many teams. Not many combine his height and speed.Yes, makes the odd mistake but he creates some great plays

What’s really changed since our last loss?
Not playing Hunt, or any other sucker, in the ruck. Three talls plus Max. critical difference
-
Is Daisy the best special comments person?
Yes, she is first rate. Knows the current scene better than many of the ex players

A good word for our co-captain
[censored]! His great form has occurred since he went into the middle--where he belongs.
