I think we're better than St Kilda because we won more games than them last year and we have won more games than them this year.

I don't think we can keep saying we are a better team than St Kilda when they keep beating us
I have thought we are far superior than them over the past 2 years but the evidence has finally convinced me they are slightly ahead of us right now. I am still very confident we have the better/younger list and will be much better than them very soon

I don't think a Ba-Zillion Dollar deal until the turn of the century is out of the question

Judd has been good on footy classified. They've actually talked some footy for a while!
how the hell damo gets on tv I'll never know. Hopefully a permanent move
-
still not perfect but the mrp are a fair bit better this year. nothing too soft resulting in weeks
far out Oliver exceeds my expectations every time I see him. and it just seems to come so easy to him

Howe playing in the backline even when the pies can't buy a goal

One former vice captain and 2 former captains playing for casey.
What a world

GC very light in the midfield. If we get our defence organised we should win.
-
3 defenders and a fwd out
3 midfielders and a defender in. Generalised position wise but interesting all the same!
Maybe pedo plays back but then we are short up fwd and second ruck.
Bad luck for Anb but it is not a good time to be an inside midfielder at casey

30K for sure? There's want to be a lot of saints fans there to make 30k

Nice balanced view on both sports
you could just as easily show a football player breaking his leg from a tackle and an afl player diving for high contact

Another game I've noticed where the team with more possession and inside fifties loses
dogs had 80 more touches. 15 more contested and 10 more inside 50,s.
Ive noticed this a few times this year, not sure if this is a trend or coincidence.
Contested possessions used to be a good marker of who will win

Sitting at 3-2 we have: saints, Suns away, dogs and bears at home and port in NT
its hard not to get carried away and think we could win all 5. But With a young team we will have some bad days.
Suns are smashed with injuries again. Dogs and port are missing stars as well.
Going on the previous 5 rounds we should lose to Brisbane, lose in a close one to the dogs and beat the other 3
Surely we should be sitting at 6-4 at least by round 10?
am I crazy?? Finals anyone????

Not a great game of footy.
Dogs look to be overrated. A top 4 contender should be able to cover a couple of injuries their composure and know cling inside 50 have been horrible
wells and Waite are adding a lot to the Roos this year. Reckon they'll be top 4

Oliver 11 touches and 1 clearance last week.
hopefully the idea of resting him will mean we can limit his ineffectual games like last week
-
It's not being questioned because the teams are not performing well - it is being questioned because a club of drug cheats is playing. they lied, cheated, put young men's lives and their livelihoods in danger and are still not remorseful!
Not exactly what ANZAC day should stand for!

I reckon Petracca will be ripping the yellow pages apart right now
I get the feeling Roos and the coaches are doing this to Trac on purpose to keep his arrogance in check. god knows the dees of 3 years ago would have played Trac in round 2 and brought on the fanfair. thank god we are being run like an actual proper club now

Tigers on the brink of a crisis I reckon. you can just smell it. Best player rushed back and re-injures his quad. captain under the pump chokes.
we already screwed the Pies season, lets keep going with the Tiges!

In. Vince, Garlett
Out, Oliver and Brayshaw
Oliver to be dropped/rested, only 11 touches. still did ok but the two coming in are better.
Brayshaw - dont mess around with concussion with a young mid - bound to get hit a lot

right. i probably should have read the post properly
same thoery applies. are 95% sure the timeframe is so many weeks but want to wait til swelling goes down and it is 100% until people are informed. we know how annoying it is to hear 4 weeks and then it turns into 8

can't see any reason why club would keep it a secret though
possible reasons include:
only 95% sure that surgery is the option
waiting on second opinion from another doc
waiting on a scan/test to 100% confirm surgery is the way to go
want to wait until 100% sure to tell the public
rumours and inside info can often be stuff that is 90% gonna happen

I suspect they are holding back the numbers to announce we've broken our record at an opportune time to get some good press

Is caveat emptor when Harry Potter does that spell on Prof Snape and a snake almost bites a kid?
if yes, I think the Dees will win

Both the NBA and NFL have played games for points in Europe and I'd gently suggest they are much more serious competitions than the AFL.
id gently suggest that I dont give a rats about what american sports do.
they have franchises. we have clubs

From memory
past no longer an issue but it was an issue last year
asked about having the youngest list, was it by design. Said no in his roosey way. Basically said the younger guys are earning their spots over older lads
says he doesn't do heaps of the technical side of coaching. Praised his assistants no end. Said he works with the leaders and makes sure mindset is correct, tries to drag each player out and chat
has a house in Hawaii that he can rent out at a reasonable rate![:roos: :roos:](//demonland.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
