I disagree. From the reports I've read from reliable posters and the reports from the club, Petty put together many consistent week of footy. Doing the team things and performing well Jeff was dropped for not doing the team/roles things so Goody can't bring him back after he has been average at Casey. The Petty upgrade didn't work and he will go back. Each debut is a risk, some players like Spargo just take to the spotlight and others need some time.

The main thing that needs changing is a lift in intensity, running and pressure. Jeffy is not the answer as he has been back in the twos for 8 weeks now and not put in a full shift once. Frost could be worth a look, once he has worked on his game sense and positioning as he was terrible last time he was in the AFL I think Spargo and Stretch should certainly come in, at the expense of the players that put in the least on sunday

Gee I was disapointed in Viney in the first half. I hold him in the highest of regard and I know he was tagging but imo he needs to mature and realise how the game is going. Have the power to make changes during the game or challenge Goody prior to the game. He should not be tagging, he is our most influential player and almost won us the game in the last quarter. how many touched in the first Quater, 2?

I was drinking at the game but.... I counted 6 goals that came driect from freekicks to saints. three 50m penalties that would usually not be called. and 3 free kicks including that blatent dive by Billings which if course won't get cited. can anyone confirm? this is not including the number missed frees to us in our fwd half. even how bad we played, we would have won easily if the umps were fair and unbiased. I'm not usually one to complain about the umps but I couldnt help myself this week

I look at Richmonds team on paper and it looks good at best. but seeing them play they just get it done every time. Sydney played well and still didnt really come near them. no way we can beat the Tigers this year. we need a lot more mature bodies on the ground

Petty and Weed IN Smith and T Mac OUT Trac/Hannan to play more fwd

IN - Weeds OUT - T Mac (injured) I wouldn't make any other changes. I know they are saying T Mac should be right and he is tough but you don't mess around with internal bleeding and bruising to the lung. Another hit in the same place on sunday and it would not be pretty (although I aint a doctor and will back the clubs medicos). We don't need Frost at the back as we have O Mac, Smith and Hibbo. Membrey only 188 and Bruce not playing

Trac will be a champion player. Power/burst players take longer to develop. as opposed to endurance midfield types. look at Dusty, took him 6-7 seasons to perform at a high level each week and run out games. Shopped himself around after 5 seasons and noone wanted him! we will need to be patient with Trac

Hogan will be fine. Last week no-one actually kicked him the bloody ball so that wasn't his fault. Against Port he was poor. He is an absolute gun and would be third in our BnF imo (behind Gawn and Oliver) and he LOVES the sainters. 6.0 comin up.

better last year when we lost to the Pies and North twice who were in terrible form. Just beat Carlton and lost to a terrible Freo at home? we are far better than last year and it will show at the end of the year. we are finally beating the average teams and a couple of wins against the good teams are just around the corner

The ‘frost is the answer’ crowd are back. He has not been playing well for casey before today. I’d like to see Him dominate at vfl level for a few weeks before him playing. He gets outsmarted easily at afl level so has some stuff to work on before players seniors imo
