Some character assassination of Angus on here without any basis. What exactly has changed since 2 weeks ago aside from the media focus?? before people start saying how big his ego is or all he cares about is money, maybe have something to back it up. All that has happened is he is taking his time to sign a contract while playing great football

Good thread. Expectations rise so much after wining the flag and then being 10-0. Will we go 2022 unbeaten the media ask? then we go 3-5 and our whole season is up in the air. I have certainly not felt the emotional highs of other years - even the bad years when a win felt so good as it was unexpected. And there have been very few games where I could relax and enjoy the win. But looking back over the year, you have to think how lucky you are to see Clarry, Trac and the gang each week. I used to lament us never having a champion midfielder and now we have two genuine stars

What are people on about? nothing in that interview made me think he will leave. How can you be surprised Gus would factor the position he is playing/will play into his decision to sign on? He has gone from Mid to wing and now Half back in his prime. Completely fair enough he would want some idea where he might play. He said he loves playing half back, said it multiple times. And he is well within his rights to take his time with signing the biggest contract of his life. I have no doubt he will stay
